I actually did this once . . . on a *pellet* rifle.

It spooked the pigeons pretty bad, though, so fail.

  I supposed since there are no rails on any pellet guns (that I have ever seen anyway), something like in the picture is probably your only option. With the negligible recoil it probably didn’t function that bad either I am assuming.

Worked friggen GREAT. It was amazing. I was stoked. Until I shone it on the first bird and it flew off at Mach speed.

I bet it would also be ideal for an airsoft gun.
