Gun – Movie Starring 50 Cent And Val Kilmer

I had to roll my eyes when at 27 seconds the masked gunman pumped his fist as he fired his handgun.

According to 50 cent “The Gun” has a “socially conscious” theme. “It’s about how a weapon goes from manufacturing to its distribution point, to being in a citizen’s custody — and how it ends up in the wrong hands,” he said. “We watch the actual gun travel through a few different people’s hands.” (Source)

Hmmmm… I wonder if this is a movie that the Brady campaign is going to approve of? :P  Ha, not likely.

The dropping of the bullet in the guy’s drink at the bar (1:38), and the line he says is pretty awesome.

Besides the inevitable scenes in this movie that will be worthy of an eye roll, I’ll probably go see in the theater (in 2011 apparently according to the IMDB page).

P.S. Nice trigger discipline for the poster 50

  1. He was convicted of a felony, was he not? Wouldn’t that preclude him having any access to a functional firearm, movie or not?

I think he has had several in his lifetime. He probably was able to buy his way out of it and get a pardon like every other celebrity and person with money seems to do.

    2. DID U REALLY HAVE 2 SAY THAT???

I always had an idea for a scene where the hero throws a bullet to the bad guy and while it’s in the air he says “catch this” then when the bad guy has caught it and stared at it a second the good guy says “now catch these” and draws and unloads on the guy

Sounds pretty badass… I picture a matrix style 360degree camera pan thrown in the mix for that scene too.

  3. Val Kilmer is still around???? Had no idea. lol

      haha apparently.

Have you seen the movie Felon? It’s a couple of years old, but he is great in that. It’s a great movie as a whole too.

  4. Seems like a trashy version of Lord of War.
Although, nice seeing a Yugo ak though, I was convinced movie armorers would’ve just stuck to the Chinese ones…. considering which variant is exported illegally more often.

Good call, it does look like lord of war with a gangsta twist. I’m sure the production value wont even be comparable judging by the trailer, and I don’t even recognize any of the companies involved.
