Tactical Kilt Makes Appearance On Top Shot

This blog is no stranger to the Tactical Kilt… I posted some pictures about a year ago and my thoughts still remain the same.

I actually forgot they existed until last Sunday’s episode of Top Shot (S01E06 – Wild Wild West) where former British Army Captain Iain Harrison had one on for the first half of the show:

It was both surprising and disappointing that no on camera kilt jokes were made.

At least they didn’t have to watch him shoot prone.  LOL

There was one. Someone (JJ I think) said ‘ladies first’ as he first walked up to the bench. Right before your second capture.

oh yea you’re right… I just re watched that part!

  2. As a kilt-wearer myself, let me share an old Scottish saying with you:

“If they can see up your kilt, that’s their problem, not yours”.

    1. HAHA! I’ll wager they weren’t wearing any boxers of briefs in the old days, either.

yea no conventional ones anyway. Maybe they had some bear skin ones for the drafty days or something though :P

In an earlier episode, when Iain was going to the elimination challenge, he was packing clothes, it was his kilt that the camera was on while he was packing.

  4. Left on the cutting room floor was the part where I presented Andre with a matching kilt, after he’d been giving me grief about mine. The dude made me look like an albino stick insect.

That would have been priceless. You’re one of the guys on the show I’m rooting for.
