If Only All Homemade Shooting Videos Were This Great

Made by Magpul fanboys obviously. If Magpul didn’t make good products I would make fun of these guys, but since they do I’d have to say it’s perfectly acceptable to buy as much Magpul as you want.

Although you can’t see the targets in the video, the guys in it definitely seem to be pretty good and familiar with their weapons. Not surprising when in the youtube comments the uploader “glin1216” says that a majority of them in the video are Military and they attended classes occasionally.

As far as the camera they used, the¬†description¬†says “Shot with a Canon 5DMKII + 70-200 f/2.8 IS L”, which for video is quite similar to the Canon 7D or T2i that I perpetually lust over on this blog.

You gotta love the choice of song too.

Let this be a lesson to you, all shooting videos are made better by having Johnny Cash.

Lots of muzzle brakes/comps on their ARs. Gotta admit, they have good stuff. I like the extended 1911 mags.

I actually have that song as my ringtone and my phone went off while I was watching it. It almost synced up with the video, pretty crazy.

But that was an awesome shooting video. Lots of nice weapons there. I liked the reload technique they were using on the ARs, pretty slick, haven’t seen that one before.

Dude, I gotta agree with you on that reload technique. Seemed quite a few of them with the ARs used it, I wonder where they learned that from. That’s the kind of thing that makes this kind of shooting so enjoyable.

The video editing is the tough job to make a sort of mundane shot exciting. My congrats to the editor.

Quit talking about it and just go buy the damn camera already! You gotta remember though that the 5D has a “full-frame” sensor; the 7D and Rebel T2i don’t. The smaller sensor on those cameras basically gives you an increased zoom effect. It would take a lens with a focal length of 160mm on a 5D to get the same zoom as a 100mm focal length on the Rebel or 7D. Most people would probably prefer that extra zoom effect, or “crop factor.”

You better just pull the trigger on this camera thing. Waltz on down to Best Buy and pick up a T2i. Then you can start uploading your own gun videos to share with everyone.

The comments mention something about all of them having military experience.
This explains everything!

I actually just bought the Canon EOS Rebel T2i because of you. Well, I mean you kind of turned me on to it and I did my research. It’s a great buy. Will let you know what I think.

Awesome buy AJ! The main thing that is stopping me from buying it now is that I found out my computer isn’t fast enough to edit the video from it and I don’t want to do the whole computer upgrade thing at the moment.

Keep me posted on what you think of it!
