Custom Gun Holster In A 1955 Ferrari 410 Superamerica

The car:

The holster and nickel plated walther pistol:

Seems like an uncomfortable position to have the snap retention.

Looks like a Walter PPK, which happens to be one of the most used 007 James Bond guns:

If that’s not classy, I don’t know what is. I seriously hope whoever bought that car got the plate 007 or BOND :P  I’d still prefer one of the newer V12 models though like the 599 GTB or the 599 GTO.  Either of those would comfortably fit a couple of my Glocks in the interior.

  1. I love my PPK :)
    Still no Ferrari though :D

  2. id just be worried about theft. i almost put a holster in the same place until i saw that it is clearly visible from the window. so i came up with other ideas for my Fiero

  3. I think it’s actually a PP, the big brother of the PPK. The PP typically has the wrap-around grips and flat base plate.

    1. The original 7.65 PPKs have wrap-around grips (mine does) and there are magazines with flat baseplate too…

  4. isnt that the old green hornet car?

    1. The Black Beauty was a four door sedan. It was evidenty a Chrysler Crown Imperial.

  5. I like the old Ferrari’s of that era so much more than the new ones, but shouldn’t a Ferrari’s upholstery be red, and the gun a Beretta M51? :-)

Nice, but this is the kind of car people drive about 100 miles a year if at all.

I still want to make a pushbutton device where the pistol pops up and into my hand :)
