Belt Fed .22 LR AR-15 Upper Receiver

This looks pretty cool.  I wonder if it could stand up to auto fire?

  • No modifications to the AR-15 lower necessary
  • Can buy up to 500 round belts
  • bottom ejection through magwell

$695 (I think?) at LakesideGuns.  *Warning* website is frustrating, confusing, and looks like it was built in the early ’90s

It’s ugly. Yeah, what do looks matter, but it’s ugly :/

And i could see buying this for teaching people how to shoot. Not how to reload or fiddle with an AR, but just to teach people the very basics of pointing and shooting a gun. You can see how much ammo you’ve got left, it’s a .22, and it abuses the oh so shooter friendly AR platform. All the security of seeing everything that’s going on, with none of the fuss (Unless it jams lol).

I’m sure a Glock with some sort of stock on it would work for the same purpose, but i’m sure like that exists :P

    1. How long have you been on this blog?! There’s an ad on the right of the page, “ADD A STOCK TO YOUR GLOCK”. Yeah, you can get a stock for a Glock. But you have to file the papers.

There’s no way that can be real and or the guy allways posting on the blog having some affiliation with it :3

Wow, 1000 shots in 53 seconds? I thought most M16s were between 650 and 950 rpm; does the cyclic rate jump with a shorter bolt?

the shorter stroke of the 22lr takes less time to reload between each shot

It would be interesting if they made a 22 Magnum or a 25 Stevens belt feed.
    Or even a 25-20 or 32-20wcf.
