The Walking Dead – S02E02

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…. *cough snort* oops oh hi guys.   Man what a snoozer of an episode… looks like the bullet hole in the kid is going to be one of the new major story lines.

I sure hope this was just a transition episode, otherwise it’s turning into Days Of Our Lives (and not even Days Of Our Lives with zombies).

It doesn’t appear to be on the AMC site this week for free.  If you want to catch it on Amazon for a couple bucks:

Anyone watch it? Thoughts?

  1. My thoughts?
    Read the comic NOW.
Save yourself from AMC’s bullshit programming, outside of Breaking Bad and reruns of Predator.

The deviations from the comic are just a damn joke, and in a sense make the show worse.
TV deviations: Carl getting shot standing near a deer, product placement, the CDC, I haven’t heard “roamer” used yet (maybe I need hearing aids?), etc

Read the comic. Sit down in a bookstore and just read it, you don’t even need to buy the book.

    1. yes !! agreed.. read the comic instead :D
I kind of stopped watching this episode halfway (i fell a sleep on the sofa) haha

      1. +1 this guy knows what I’m talking about. If you’ve read the comic, up to issue 40’ish, you’ll more or less space out whenever the TV program is on. It is no where nearly as gritty as the comic.

Although +1 to Norman Reedus, he actually makes the show worth watching.

        1. I agree. Redneck Ninja is now the only reason I watch the show.

  2. Agree with you on the Soap comments. The scene where the lady rides in on a horse and takes out the walker with a Baseball bat was fun. I am pulling for the Redneck Ninja as well.

I agree wholeheartedly. So far this season has been really slow with too much drama. That and please get some weapons other then shotguns and pistols. They were at the CDC and now the high school which were both military strong points. Stop for a second and grab some of the discarded weapons.

I now refer to this show as “Talking me to Death”

  5. The comic series was just great.

Some of the deviations make sense…but for network TV. If it were on HBO, we’d probably get a version closer to the comic series.

Love the Daryl and Merle characters.

I’m just now catching up with season 2.
