Women In India Starting To Pack Heat

I like the values these women have:

Estimated 40 million guns in India… #2 in line after the US!  Right on.

3:35 – Lady with the side-by-side break action is ready to handle her business.  If she pulls the trigger(s) with it shouldered like a newb (3:53) though she could be looking at a broken collarbone.

I always thought of India as being a fairly peaceful place because I’ve heard the punishment for crime is severe in comparison to the US.  Regardless of if that is a deterrent or not to criminals, why take any chances when you can get a gun and even the ods.

Punishments harsh in India? Is that a joke? It’s the most corrupt nation on the planet! No one ever gets prosecuted for anything over there. It’s pretty much a joke. I guess that’s why they are packing so much heat.

Ah I thought they cut hands off there for something as trivial as shoplifting? Maybe that’s Pakistan I’m thinking of then…

Yeah, you’re thinking of Islamic countries like Pakistan. India is a rather peaceful place, but it has more to do with the culture (think Mahatma Gandhi) and perhaps that non-violence is engrained in the dominant religion, Hinduism, which about 90% of the people follow.

Scurvy’s comment is quite accurate; India is horribly corrupt at all levels. It’s amazing that any progress occurs. The real problem is that India does not have a functioning judiciary. Every court is so back-logged with cases that it’s unlikely yours will come up within the next 20 years unless you are a celebrity, a politician, or very wealthy. Imagine that — somebody has wronged you civilly or criminally, and it will be at least 20 years before you even get a chance at justice! The equivalent of their Supreme Court, in particular, is back-logged with an estimated 300 years worth of cases.

It’s no wonder people are seeking guns. The police, in general, are not there to help you.

can anyone tell me what those handguns were? Specifically the first one that looks like a 22 and the beretta that the dealer was holding.

Man! Indian women and guns! A beautiful mix. Why do I have the craving for Chana Masala and Somozas?

I got pepper sprayed on the way home last summer because some girl thought I was following her (We walked a couple blocks in the same direction and she kept looking back over the shoulder all the time).

Now mix that with firearms and crime situation in India. I wonder how many people will get shot by those women practicing their rights for self-defence.

    1. A very interesting thought.

If you were close enough to get maced she was either a seriously good shot or you may have been a little close for comfort.

She slowed down, rufled through her purse and sprayed me when I got close enough. But that’s details.

The point is that I would have never be able to prove to anyone that I was innocent in a situation like this if she called the cops. The situation in India basically gives women a reason to shoot any man on sight AND face no repercussions.

I avoid following girls for that exact reason, cross the street and pass etc. A long time ago (15 yrs maybe) i was driving with the guy i worked for and there was a girl changing a flat on the side of the road, we thought about helping as she was in office clothes and we were in construction clothes, then he said, ‘you know, when they find her chopped up in a dumpster i dont want anyone to say they saw a red pickup slowing down where her car was.’ So we kept going. But that was a long time ago, in europe.

  5. Damn, is this a “Artillery C96 Mauser” pistol (0:53)? This thing is at least worth a grand !!

yeah, he also has a rare Ithaca “auto and burglar gun” there.
It came from the factory “sawn’ off” like that. They were only made like that for a short period before short barrel shotguns became illegal in the US, and Ithica stopped making them.

  6. That woman is going to get a serious slide bite if she is not taught how to hold a handgun properly. Keep those thumbs forward!
