Texas Triggers By Top Douchebag Host

Looks like a good time.  I wonder if Colby Donaldson will actually be there running it?  If so, will he be blabbing non stop commentary the whole time people shoot, like he does on the show?  I figured he would have lots of lucrative TV show hosting offers on the table.

My one criticism is their logo…  I guess they can always change it later, but it’s very MS Paint bush league looking as it stands right now.

I hate to think how much the three day shooting package there goes for.

Thoughts?

  1. According to a comment over at the firearm blog, it’s $5000 for three days.

Which sounds like a lot, but if it’s ammo included and meals and lodging and the like, that’s not TOO outrageous.

It’s almost worth it for that “mousetrap” falling balls challenge alone.

  2. Although exotic weaponry, zipline and mousetrap game aside, I can head out in to the forest and shoot handing soda bottles myself, and do it for a LOT less than $5k.

    So check it we got ziplines, atv’s, Barrett’s, AR’s, 9MIL’s, M2HB’s, Glock’s, MG42’s, 40MikeMike’s, Mossberg’s, Henry’s, and YO dawg I herd you like fingers on yo triggers.

Seriously this is the best guns video we’ve had in a while on ENDO.

And seriously Mike, how come this fool who posted first gets some kinda profile pic when he can’t even spell “into” and I’m relegated to the Glock icon? I mean this guy should understand the fundamentals of the English language before he’s allowed to get his logo like that, right?

    Looks awesome, $5k is steep.

  7. Well considering that a 100 linked rounds of .50 cal is around $400. Buying in the 10K+ range at a time it probably drops to about $3.50. In the video alone it looks like they blew threw about $1500 easy.

Then throw in the grenades and other rounds, it can get to $3K of ammo easy.

So it isn’t really too bad if you have fun. Think how much a cruise costs.

i wish i had that kind of money to spare

  9. Looks cool, too expensive. And the video wasn’t all that exciting… I think they could have done better.

A few months ago Chris Cerino runner up from season 1 was at the gun show promoting a day long top shot style class. He had a few other Top Shot alumni that were scheduled to appear. It wasn’t anything near $3k I don’t remember specifically but it was more like $300, you probably had to bring your own ammo.

Like the other posters said, If you count it ammo, lodging and meals, 5K for what you get isn’t bad at all. My wife and I would love to do this. Trip to Europe would cost more than that. And here you get to shoot 50 cal and grenade launchers.
    Fuck it,
    I am moving to Texas.
