Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Villain Trailer

Painful that this game has a November 13th release date.  I’m sure they will continue to beat us to death with trailers until then.

You can pre-order the game over at Amazon for $60 if you’re interested.

The consensus on the first preview trailer I posted was that this game is going to suck.  Anyone change their mind yet? :P

Oh god. Cowadooty. It is probably the WORST thing in the gaming world. It is ruining everything for everyone. No innovation, rehashed gameplay, insane hype, bad writing, bad graphics, bad multiplayer, bad support, bad everything. And everyone just eats it up! What the hell. I hate it from the bottom of my heart. More than just because it’s a bad game. More than just because it’s bad to gaming. It’s just absolutely horrible that things like this can be gotten away with in any market. I can hardly put into words how this makes me feel, but I suppose, in a word? “Dammit”.
    I’m mad.

  2. Well, I don’t hate the game light the Dan does… But I do think that it’s nothing special. They’re at a point in time where the new one is barely different from the old one…

I’ve been playing COD since the first one and this is the only one I’ve thought about NOT getting.

Guys like Dan take it too seriously – it’s an arcade game to play for fun…at least to me. “No innovation” – somewhat true. They add a few cool things with every release, but the shooter genre in general is suffering from lack of new stuff. “Rehashed gameplay” – definitely true. “Insane hype” – Yep. “Bad writing” – Disagree, the story lines in these games are like a good action movie. A bit unrealistic at times, but you ARE playing a video game. “Bad graphics” – in comparison only to Battlefield 3, which no one has come close to yet. Treyarch sacrifices some on graphics for a better frame rate, which is fine with me. The graphics aren’t everything. “Bad multiplayer” – only if you have a bad internet connection. “Bad support” – Actually they helped me out very well last week, first time I’ve ever had to talk to customer service.

Overall the series has kept me interested but this “future” stuff has me turned off. If I want future stuff I’ll play Halo or Mass Effect…Homefront did ok with it though, so who knows.

Yeah. It’s fine to have just a fun “arcadey” game. But this is neither of those. And, yes. This has terrible graphics. The textures are incredibly low resolution and they’ve been using the same engine since about 2008 And it doesn’t even have good framerate. There’s no way it’s any higher than 30fps. Just out of principle this is terrible. They’re putting minimal effort into it and getting insane money from it and that makes it harder for people who actually care about games to make games because all anybody is willing to fund is Cowadooty clones. It’s sapping gaming dry for the people who actually care about it and want to see more than GRIMDARK SO MACHUR BROWN AND BLOOM. It’s boring, extraordinarily overrated, and just bad for everything. I know I seem like an asshole, but It’s true. It’s a cancer on gaming.
      (still mad)

Just making sure that you realize the fact that this is a firearms blog. You know, real guns like your dad has in his closet that you and your high school friends might accidentally kill each other with one day when he’s out working?

So, yeah, maybe you were looking for a gaming blog and saw guns and gave up the search at that. Go home kid.

God forbid he comments on a video game post on a gun blog!!!

Maybe you should go chill with elitist buddies on m4carbine.net

So we can’t have a hobby besides shooting? Are you not entertained by war/action movies? Same thing here, you just play as the protagonist.

Nice that they not only have Tony Todd’s voice but his likeness as well.

Meh….. I might get it only for the Zombie story/maps. I payed blackops/cowadooty but im not really a fan of the COD franchise. I like BF3 better. Zombies is more of a team effort which is why I like BF3.

all the games are great. they are fun, and beat the hell out of battlefield anyday. the treyarch games i like better than infinity ward. but that is just my personal opinion. dan the viking is butt hurt, sorry bro but i dont think you hate the game, i think you just hate yourself. lol. it will be a great game and will be the most selling game to date just like all the others were shortly after there release date. get over it.

Not getting this, if I wanted to play a game with a bunch of BS in it I would just pick up HALO

  8. The developers would save more money if they stripped the away single player campaign 100%. No one buys CoD for the story, they just want to turn their brains off and shoot other players online. I read somewhere some big shot over at Activision thinks CoD should be taken as seriously as a film like Hurt Locker. Not sure how he expects to do that when the human aspect takes a back seat to all the explosions and tacticool gear.

I think I’m one of the few that still buy games for the campaigns…COD doesn’t always have the strongest stories but they’re still good.

I’ll get it just for the Zombies.
I got sucked in to that hard in
COD WaW. Addictive for me, anyway.
    Done, decided, end of story.
