Call Me Maybe – Military Edition

I don’t listen to the radio, but I still hear this song everywhere:

For some reason I didn’t enjoy this vid as much as a couple of the others I posted a while back:

This one just seems a bit more forced than the other two… maybe that’s why?

Glad they are having fun in the downtime anyway.  Since the original Carly Rae Jepsen music video is about a phone number and a gay dude I was half expecting that worked into the plot of this video somehow.  I guess DADT is still a touchy subject even to joke about.

Thoughts?

To quote Max over at terminallance.com “The video is lame, moto, and POG as fuck.” and “It doesn’t take a trained eye to see that there’s not a single grunt in this video.”

I hate this song. Fake, whining voice, fake instruments, stupid lyrics.

You’re missing out. Listen to talk radio. Some good stuff out there. Hedgecock, Savage, Limbaugh, etc. Interesting shows, whether you agree or disagree with their opinions.

    1. got frequencies for those radio talk show? see if I could listen to them via TuneIn. i prefer those talk shows, than listening to today’s (shitty) music..

  5. As I said in the ‘bronie’ article, the military is made up exclusively of fags

    1. Guess I need to figure out how to break that to the wife then…

      Jackass.

      1. So youre still in the closet?

      2. And give it up with your ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ shit. Are you Greek?
No – Then your just a poser
Yes – Enjoy banging guys in the ass.

        1. You are aware that “ur teh gayz!” is not exactly an insult, right?

If not, you just got upgraded to dumbass. Congratulations.

Care to go for the “homophobe” trifecta?

Also, it is spelled Y O U ‘ R E. With an apostrophe. Not “your”, and not “youre”. Dumbass.

          1. Really? Youre acting like your insulted Sgt. Grammar Nazi.

            1. Nope, just seeing how far entrenched your blind bigotry is.

              Thanks for clearing that up.

lol.. matthew i hail from Crete and do no homo.

regardless of what happened in ancient greece i guarantee you that modern day greeks are much less accepting of homosexuality than the united states.

ive never seen a country that spends so much time and effort promoting a deviant lifestyle that only 3.5% of their population practices. as much as its promoted in you’d think 90% of the population enjoys banging guys in the ass.

          1. The Greek reference was more in response to ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ. The ancient Greeks are well known to be raging homosexuals.
“Homosexuality in the militaries of ancient Greece was regarded as contributing to morale… the Spartan tradition of military heroism has also been explained in light of strong emotional bonds resulting from homosexual relationships. Various ancient Greek sources record incidents of courage in battle and interpret them as motivated by homoerotic bonds.”
            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_the_militaries_of_ancient_Greece

And if modern Greeks are less accepting than Americans than why does Wikipedia say:
“Male prostitution has been legal since May 2006.” and “The gay scene in the island of Myconos and the lesbian scene in Eressos, Lesbos are famous internationally.”
            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Greece

Last time I checked prostitution was illegal here, and we didnt have any internationally famous gay events.

            1. Dude, your infatuation with homosexuality can’t be good for the psyche. Just ’cause you got caught spankin’ it to ‘300’ people shouldn’t judge you too harshly.

I think there was one or two women in the movie. Just say you were thinking of them.

              1. Is that really the best you can come up with, try harder next time butt hurt service member.

                1. Can I service your member.

yes brothels and prostitution are legal in greece much like they are in nevada.
yes ancient greeks enjoyed and by some accounts encouraged homosexuality as did much of the roman empire at the time.
ancient greeks also enjoyed activities such as crucifying dogs, damnatio ad bestias and pumping their buddies ass full of wine.

of course this occurred between 2039 and 1536 years ago.

although i have to admit that you seem to have much more knowledge about homosexuality than i but im not just regurgitating shit from wikipedo. im a dual us/greek citizen.. born on fls souda bay and spent 20 some years living in crete and greece.

again modern day greeks are quite intolerant of homosexuality. they are treated very similar to the way homos are treated in russia. sure the goverment condones it (even more so since joining the eu) but the citizens not so much. if you are going there to fulfill your homoerotic needs be careful it isnt like the folsom street fair.

              1. i hope your proud of your motherland’s rich and vibrant history of animal abuse and wine enemas.

And if you im just regurgitating shit from wikipedia, and youre not, how exactly do I have more knowledge that you?

                  1. paul,

Leave it alone. It is still struggling whether or not to come out of the closet.

    2. as I said in the ‘article’ as well…

What military are you looking at?

Or are you just trolling for attention since your mom hated you and spent more time with Jethro and Leroy when she should have been changing your diapers?

      1. The US military was featured in both articles… so which one do you think i was looking at.

        1. “so which one do you think i was looking at.”

I don’t know. Do you prefer ‘bears’ or ‘twinks?’
