MrColionNoir gives his thoughts:

What ever he does decide to do is going to be covert, very insidious, and slick.

I was thinking about building an AR15 competition rifle for IPSC this winter, but a few things is really busting it up. First, if you think your prices has skyrocketed in the US, imagine what it will do for our prices.. A Stag Arms Model 3 costs, wait for it, 1930$ here in sweden, and you can only get licence for one if your are competing in IPSC, which I just passed my examination for.

So even over here in Sweden, we feel the effect of what is going on with the gunmarket in the US. We already pay JP-15 Rifle money for a basic Stag 3 rifle… and to top it off, there are parts of Sweden where just handling of the licence applications takes 9 months… People who participate in 50 competitions each year are refused renewal of their licences. There are even a legislation rumbling about that looks into making _all_ magazines licence mandated parts. True, we have a diffrent gun culture over here, but it is getting way out of hand, and our goverment basiclly says: Hunters can by pretty much everything, why not another .338 Lapua, for you know… birds, but you good sir, that wants to compete both in IPSC Production AND Open division and needs 2 diffrent 9mm handguns, YOU ARE THE DEVIL…

Well considering Obama approved new talks on the Global Arms Trade Treaty (GATT) about five minutes after Romney’s concession speech, I just have this suspicion.

And if you read anything about the GATT, it really has nothing about a personal right to keep and bear arms in there.

This might just be an internet rumor but i heard that obama didnt like the constant gun presence of the secret service agents that work inside the white house. Then he figured out what was wrong and now they all have to mexican carry hi points so he can feel more at home.

Will Barack “The Butcher of Benghazi” come after our arms rights? absolutely. I remember him saying once that he was working on gon control legislation “under the radar” (at this time, Operation Fast and Furious was going on). Now that he’s renewed support for UN Global Arms Trade Treaty, AND Sen. Feinstein has proposed a new bill that would ban pistol grips, Hi-Cap mags, and would not allow grandfathering of “assault weapons” or even SALE of “assault weapons” in ones possetion! Oh, and her legislation would be retroactive, forcing all owners of “assault weapons” to modify their weapons accordingly. Granted, this has to get through the Senate and the house first, but even if it fails to pass? Barry “The Butcher of Benghazi” can just order the ATF director to impose the new regulations via stroke of the pen. Congress should have never given lawmaking rights to the beaurocracy.

Personally I think that the USG has realized what a joke gun control is, especially with current advances in home machine tools and 3D printers. Never mind that even if we didn’t have all this technology we could still easily crank out our own guns and they would be much better than the things the fine craftsmen of the khyber pass pump out.

Which is why I think if there is going to be any further major gun control efforts in the future they are going to be total gloves off house to house, kill everybody who resists, borderline genocidal campaigns, and no I am not kidding.

They didn’t have to go house to house in Australia, and yet the majority of the populace is disarmed.

You don’t have to take guns away from everyone if the penalty for having one is great enough.

Ah sorry, didnt realise the article I read was a repost from October, but either way he will try to get a new AWB reintroduced, what does he have to lose?

…or he can wait till he appoints the next two Supremes, and then just have them revisit Heller. Done.

From the political strategy perspective, I fail to understand why the dems want to regulate guns more. Its a losing position that costs them millions of votes in every election, and it accomplishes nothing in terms of increasing public safety or reducing crime (and there is data to prove it). Is the Democratic party’s position on gun control strictly appeasement to the morons who actually believe that registration and regulation will work in order to secure the paranoid Jewish mother voting block? This single issue is one of the most divisive on every election day, and I know countless people who vote Republican who would vote Dem if it weren’t for the fear of gun control. They have got to realize that reenacting an AWB is only going to do is polarize the nation even more, cost them votes (and probably the white house) four years from now, piss people off, cost taxpayer dollars, and probably make more than a handful of retards go Ruby Ridge because the government is “comin to terk our gunz.”

Well, it certainly didnt cost them this election. People care more about their government bennies then they do about their inalienable rights. The Republic is doomed, my vote is for peaceful secession.

the obama voters probably have a hi point in the waistband of their basketball shorts, right next to their free phone.

The “free obamaphone” is a confirmed urban legend.

To clarify, I’m not arguing that they won’t attempt to do it – I just don’t understand why they keep trying. Its a losing strategy for the Dems to attack gun owners, when we make up ~50% of the legal US population.

How is a free Obamaphone an urban legend?

Please clarify, since I have one. I recently qualified easily due to being out of work since four months after Obama first took residence in the White House. Free phone, free minutes, zero out of pocket.

Again, how is this a legend?

Yeah, I guess the infamous Obamaphone “lady” will be pretty surprised to hear this.

“The bottom line is that there is free phone assistance available to those who qualify but it is not an Obama administration program. Taxpayers do support the program but not through federal income taxes. And despite the screaming lady in the video, eligibility doesn’t hinge on Social Security, disability or food stamps; there’s no “buy one bag of chips, get an Obama phone free” promotion. Just because a woman holding a sign gets a microphone in her face doesn’t make her statements true.”

His Jiu-Jitsu is good. But mine is better. I anticipate his move. He is laying the groundwork for upcoming legislation. He’s letting others be the bad guy like Yee and Fiendstein. Then, he can either remain ambiguous and not be the bad guy…or he can issue executive orders. Either way, he gets what he wants. At this point it’s legacy time. I honestly think this is just political posturing.

The real issue is to fix the underlying cause of the problem…this being mental defect/duress, stress, or whatever. Mass shootings/murders, suicides, etc… are caused by people under mental duress, anguish, defect, or other mental ailment. Maybe they weren’t hugged as a child or mommy dressed them funny…whatever the case may be. They need treatment. How about Fiendstein and Yee and other lawmakers get together and come up with some laws to help identify, treat, and support people with mental defects. How about putting together some anti-bullying programs or stiffer penalties for bullies. I don’t get paid enough to come up with the solution. But these legislators DO! Do your damn jobs and solve the mental health crisis sweeping America today. Look at the statistics regarding the numbers of the citizenry that have some mental issue. From simple things such as ADHD or bipolar mania to paranoid schizophrenia. Psychiatric needs must be met.

I have met and/or heard of people in all walks of life who are just plain nuts. Remember the lady astronaut who drove across the country in a diaper just to stab (attempted murder) a female rival for the affection of a married male astronaut.

How about this tidbit…there are about 2000 laws on the books regarding guns. Yet none stopped the shootings in columbine or sandy hook….unfortunately. It is sad that these sick people shoot innocent victims but more laws will not make them any less sick.

Criminals (felons) are already precluded from owning firearms. Yet there are still violent crimes and armed robberies. All these stupid gun laws do is to make law abiding citizens frustrated and jump though more hoops just to be able to enjoy their hobby or protect their families, shoot targets at a range, or hunt. Or whatever, it’s our constitutional right!

If you do not exercise proper firearm storage practices, these types of things will happen. Store your weapons where unstable individuals can’t get them. A proper safe with a bio Eric lock would do wonders. You can have all the laws in the world, but they will only be effective if abided by. Last I checked, criminals do not abide by the rules.

If there were armed citizens at these locations, I guarantee that there would be less victims. Except maybe the armed citizen who stops the assailant. The funny thing is, people would probably sue the guy who shot the assailant or he/she would be arrested. Lol We can’t really win can we. What a joke.

I fought for this country and its a damn shame that its going downhill. The movie idiocracy is coming true…holy shit. You gotta see the movie. We are getting dumber by the second. I swear my IQ drops at a rate of 1 or 2 points a week. Especially when I listen to some of our “elected” legislators and representatives.

This really sucks. Sorry for the long winded rant. I’m frustrated with stupid people. I hope these idiots don’t pass any crazy gun laws. Lets hope that the NRA has some balls and some strong backing. God luck to us all.

I hope we can get this settled soon. People are price gouging like a motherfucker! Opportunistic bastards.
