Gagnam Shooting Range Style

Richard Ryan gets it done:

1:00 – “Hey I got an idea, you can scream at my ass… scream at my ass.”

2:42 – Sweet LAWD plastic explosives are no joke… dat slo-mo.

Honestly I though Gagnam Style (almost at 1 Billion views now) was the funniest shit I’ve ever seen/heard.  Then I saw these lyrics to an old song of his the other day:

Kill those —— Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives
Kill those —— Yankees who ordered them to torture
Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully

RatedRR-Richard-RyanWTF?!  Even though those lyrics are from 2004, I’m sure that didn’t do wonders for his popularity since that surfaced.  Sure he apologized, but it still stings.  Talk about biting the hand (in the past) that feeds him (currently).

What do you think?  Were you a PSY fan before this happened, are you still doing the horse dance and getting his numbers up?

Psy can suck eggs as far as I’m concerned and I felt that way even before the 04 lyrics resurfaced.

Im of the opinion that we have all said or done some things that are/were really fing dumb and wish we hadn’t and as such am willing to give PSY the benefit of the doubt in terms of geting caught up in antAmericanism fad that was sweekping the rest of the world from 2003-2007.

And we tend to ignore that a lot of people worldwide aren’t thrilled about us maintaining military bases in their countries. That’s where the talk about American imperialism comes from. That said the lyrics are pretty extreme. I’ve heard stuff almost as bad from American rappers about police, but in neither case does that show anything other than an utter lack of class at the very least.

South Koreans not thrilled with the US military presence? We did keep them fom being completely invaded by N. Korea at one point. That war never officially ended. We do maintain a presence there in part because of the N. Korean threat. Not to mention the money that US military presence puts into local economies.

Oh yea, that “music” by that PSY guy sucks a hairy butthole. It’s not interesting, or funny, and is for retards.

The South Koreans aren’t universally happy with our presence there. They are more than capable of dealing with any aggression from their northern cousins. The idea of a foreign country maintaining a military presence in one’s home country makes a lot of people upset, money or no.

There has to be a back story on where RatedRR gets all his toys from…LIKE C4?

I think I remember seeing in a video a long time ago that he said he had his demolition licence (or whatever it’s called) so he can buy/use all the c4 he wants.

Trolling through the site and came across this post! I always cringe right before I click on them because I’m never sure if it’s going to be a bunch of people talking about “that jackass shooting an iPhone” or what. First off… Thanks! I appreciate you guys actually taking the time to watch my stuff. Feedback (positive or negative) as well as suggestions are always appreciated. It’s weird seeing your stuff critiqued by the sites and people you visit on a regular basis.

I come from a military family growing up in Tennessee, though, I did not serve myself. Yes I do have my federal manufacturer of explosives, of destructive devices and firearms licenses. I bounce back and forth between Los Angeles and Chattanooga so the licenses allow for permitting high capacity magazines, full autos and rifles without bullet buttons in California.

RR comes on endo and is a class 10? (or is 10 importer and 09 explosives?)

subscribed.

Thanks! Not an importer but a manufacturer and permitted user of. The importer license gets pretty ridiculous. I don’t know many people with that other than Dan Tanner from Tannerite. He imports some types of additives for his binary so that it creates water vapor instead of a flames which makes it 50 state legal. The main reason I got the manufacturers license instead of just the federal permitted user license was a nice little chat my ATF agent and I had about the legalities of shooting a binary explosive for a video and then profiting off of it. You can shoot a binary exploding target for personal use in all 50 states. As soon as you make $0.01 off of a video then you just mixed or manufactured an explosive for profit… It blew my mind they were so “by the book”. I obliged him and submitted my paper work as a manufacturer of. Aside from heavily regulated C4… You can also get your hands on things that aren’t so obvious with your license like REALLY COOL fireworks for 4th of July and New Years :)

Whoa yeah that is crazy. I didn’t know that. I wonder if any other youtubers know that?

I’ll check out your other videos seeing as how you actually took the time to explain things to me.

Are you on silencer talk or nfa talk?

At that time in Korea these issues were over expansion of US military bases in Korea, not just general anti-Americanism. I was in Korea (Osan AB) in 2005 while there were serious anti-American protests going on. The issue was that people were being forced off their ancestral farmland (by their own government) so that a US military base could expand. This really pissed people off and there were massive protests. Most of the people I dealt with in Korea were some of the nicest, most generous, most accomodating people I’ve ever met in my life.

I like Psy, and you know what people are entitled to their opinions. I’ve gotten super-pissed off and said some pretty offensive stuff to people before, who am I to cast stones.

Those assholes must not appreciate the security and stability that the US armed forces provide. Lol. You gotta love how our media doesn’t report those kind of things.

Cant say I dont agree, but fuck it. World ain’t gonna change as long as everybody screams patriotic songs and continue to believe that their country is the greatest in existence(that applies to everyone not only Americans)

PS: Not everybody loves the US, since y’know invading countries and establishing millitary bases dont win popularity contests.

You might want to distinguish between invading a country and establishing a coalition military base as part of an agreement with a foreign government. There’s a bit of a difference.

Assholes of the world do not appreciate the security and stability that the US armed forces provide.

Yeah, you sure did support people in Bosnia during the war, I personally know several people who almost got killed because of the ” security and stability US armed forces provide”.

Sorry for double post but have to say it: He should have used incendiary or hollowpoints(do those even exist for .50 BMG?) that would have really shredded that computer.

RichardRyan December 13, 2012 at 02:41 am

Those were actually APIT rounds. They usually take about 50 -100 yards to ignite for me. In the slow motion you can see the 2 rounds trying light up right as they’re penetrating. I figured if I wasn’t point blank it’d lose the “anger effect”. I haven’t seen hollow points but that’s not to say they don’t make them. I have seen guys who load their own ammo make RDX tipped rounds. I’m not sure how well they detonate but they do exist none the less. 50 BMG Armor Piercing, Armor Piercing Incendiary and Armor Piercing Incendiary Tracer rounds are pretty common outside of Californiastan :)

Thanks for replying I am not a big bore shooter so I dont really know a lot about the different ammo and how it works

PS: Regarding the video, I would have probably done the same.

my 14 year old daughter likes the tune, even tho she doesn’t understand the lyrics. she asked me if i’d heard of it while she was playing the thing and i broke it down, right in the den. she was horrified.
