Sons Of Derp Anti-Aircraft Gun

Testing out an anti-aircraft gun on stationary grounded fake aircraft:

NEVA BEEN DONE BEFO’!  Nothing like shooting a gun like that without eye pro… it sets a good example for the derp-youth.

Sons-Of-Guns-Stephanie-Hayden-Derp

I want one with a .22LR conversion kit.  Is that too much to ask?!

I can’t even stomach more than a couple minute clip of that show before my stomach gets in a knot.

Thoughts?

Don’t remember seeing these newbies at an SOF convention or any of the places real NFA innovations were born. They are johnny come lately gun plumbers and will never match the skills of Terry Dyer,Tromix and hundreds of other mad scientists that know what they are doing and have done it well before these inbreds graced the screens.

If you get a conversion kit, where you gonna get any .22LR?

I’m with JD. The kit, not too much to ask for. The .22? Yup. Too much to ask for.

It’s amazing that anyone would even design an open bolt 20mm like the Oerlikon. You need those shoulder stirrups just to drag the bolt back.

As for Will needing eye protection…Hey, he had his contacts in, what more do you want? Seriously though, considering his concerns with that gun, maybe one of them bomb disposal suits would’ve been appropriate.

I take it ENDO Mike will not be purchasing signed Derp and Derpanie posters and advocare from their 100% classy website at iacgear.com?

The ultimate troll would be to print out that Derpanie picture I used in the post, and try and get her to sign it sometime.

They at one point was offering vouchers for 15 minute phone calls with them too, they seem to have taken those down!

Wow! That website is an incoherent trainwreck. I guess I shouldn’t expect any less from these two yokels. You can buy their derpy shirts, snake oil supplements, or sign up for one of their “classes,” (really just directs you to the NRA instruction website).

His music is shit too, I’d rather listen to a bunch of lot lizards singing “I did it my way” than that nasal sounding fool.

I must say, if I was shooting an AA gun like that, there may be a point where eye protection becomes moot, although I doubt that gun was it. Beyond a certain point, if the gun blows up for some reason, the pieces are either too fast for the glasses to stop, or too big for glasses to be of any use and you die either way.
But then again, i wouldn’t go and stick any part of my body near a gun that fires shells instead of regular bullets without being 110% sure it wasn’t going to explode suddenly.
And even with that point, wear the eye protection so even little bits of stuff won’t get into your eyes, it’s better to be safe than blind.

The show is ridiculous, but I watch it because I at least get to see some guns and cool military hardware. I don’t care for the drama in between. I LOVE seeing the stuff being built and restored, though.

I watch it with the full expectation that the series finale with be an ATF raid.
