American Military Members Returning Home To Their Families

These are always tough to watch:

American-FlagSo much sacrifice.  I can’t even wrap my head around how difficult it must be for everyone involved. If the job and location wasn’t dangerous that would be bad enough… for a lot of these guys though it’s never absolute whether or not they will ever come home.

I always make sure I’m by myself before I watch these, so I don’t have to explain why I look like one of the little girls in the video.

Need to vacuum. Dusty in here.

  2. I just think the allergens are up even though it rained this morning.

Mike, thanks for posting that. Tough to come back and find you’ve missed a year (+) of their lives… And you’ll never get it back.

There’s usually not much that gets to me, but these videos really mess with my allergies.

If you don’t have tears in your eyes after watching this then you absolutely suck as a human being.

I was solid until the little girl @ 4:04…then, ya, pretty much open weeping.

Haha, you made it roughly twice as long as I did.

There is no more anti-family, anti liberty, and socially destructive human phenomenon than war. The military life just tears families up, and stains so many childhoods.

    1. While I agree with the sentiment, can you just let it pass for the moment. I had the same sort of thoughts running through my mind such as “Why are they still there?” but was able to let it go and appreciate the moments that we are seeing.

Amazingly well-done video! I love watching them; it reminds me to appreciate my time at home a lot more.
To Horchata- I don’t think anyone would disagree with your points. But, some fights need fighting and these folks are coming home to those they are fighting for.

I do not like, however, being at the ballgame when one of these surprises goes-off and being reduced to a cry-baby.
