LAPD Officer Turns The Bitch Dial Up To 11

All because the driver wouldn’t say where he was going:

LAPDI’ll say this again…even though I think being a law enforcement officer of any kind has got to be the most frustrating job on earth, the point is you’re a public servant so if you can’t deal with the shitheads as cordially as you can deal with the people you could see yourself hanging out with, then it’s probably time for a new line of work.

Thoughts?  Will this woman lose her badge, or will the incident get swept under the rug?

  1. What a mouthy fucking cunt-hole. She ought to be slapped, fired or suspended w/o pay for one month, and sent back to the fucking kitchen.

She started swearing first. What a cunthole.

  2. Wow apparently you’re a hard ass for knowing your rights…bitch should be fired..I hate most LEO’s, not all but most, and she’s definitely giving LAPD even more of a bad rep..shame shame

    1. I really don’t think the LAPD can get a worse reputation than they already have unless they start executing people at traffic stops…

      1. they tried that, didn’t you see the blue truck?

That Dorner deal was an LAPD assassination from the get go. They didn’t want him alive and that’s why two different innocent parties got shot the hell up in their trigger happy head hunt.

Please tell me you knocked on wood after saying that.

It is power-drunk jerk-offs like her that constantly chip away at the good work of good officers. It takes 100 good experiences with cops to make up for one single incident with a dirt bag like her.

  3. A lot of people are giving this lady shit, but I don’t think she deserves it. She asked a personal question and he could’ve just said “I don’t feel comfortable to disclose such information” or just drove off and pretend that he didn’t hear her, but instead he chose the route of one of those douche-bags who open carry their rifles in front of police and “being aware of his rights” acted like a fucking hard ass. He deserved the ass chewing he got.

    1. I agree. Donut with extra sprinkles for her.

Oh, ok , so now we’re in the wrong pointing out what our rights are. Shit, why dont we just stop using that excuse altogether. We’ll stop using the same line on anti-gunners too. What a hypocrite you are. Anyone should be allowed to stand behind the phrase “it’s my right” or any variation of for any reason that applies.

      1. He had confirmed that he was free to go and didn’t have to answer any more questions, all he was doing past the point of “so I’m free to go, right?” was egging her on. He could’ve left without saying another word, but he chose to ask if he was being detained like an asshole would.

“egging her on,” ha ha! That’s a good one. First off, asking if you are being detained is not an insult, egging on, or even “talking shit.” Secondly, even if it were any of those things, true professional police are supposed to be immune to that sort of behavior. Only morons and meat head cops get caught up in being baited by someone. Cooler heads prevail.

          1. It wasn’t egging her on? Did you even watch the fucking video? He said what he said JUST to piss her off, and it worked. You reap what you sew.

Different strokes for different folks, but we see this incident completely differently. Seemed pretty calm when he asked and was his subtle way of saying I am leaving unless you are going to take further action. She on the other hand seemed slightly unhinged with her “tatted up” rant. He was 1 min away from being arrested for having tats, driving while having tats, accessory to a female with tats, and delinquency of a minor because they might have seen a tat.

All that aside, lets say that he was trying to piss her off. Well he is better at pissing off a cop than she is at being a professional. Who is this going to be a problem for? The jerk off with a camera or the cop yelling and screaming about irrelevant shit at someone who had not broken a law and threatening an illegal search just for the hell of it.

Maybe you weren’t paying that much attention when you watched the vid… That cop went to full on bitch mode for absolutely no reason. He didn’t want to disclose where he was going, what’s so wrong with that?

The bitch cop needs to be taken off the street and thrown into some anger therapy classes before she goes off and shoots someone for disrespecting her.

      1. What’s wrong with it was the way he chose to not to disclose the information. He could’ve just said “I don’t want to reveal this information” but instead he asked “am I being detained?”

        1. And that gives her the right to yell at him? What if she tased him for asking that?

          1. That’d be wrong because she’s causing physical harm to him and would be assaulting him for no good reason, but being a shit head is a good reason for an ass chewing.

            1. Isn’t it a verbal assault for no good reason?

              1. If you count verbal assault as actual assault you must’ve had a sheltered upbringing where your parents never yelled at you. Have you never heard “sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me?” Grow up if you’re counting yelling as verbal abuse.

                  1. +1 for xkcd

                2. No. You are trying to justify her verbal abuse under the color of authority. At that point she no longer had any authority. If he was free to go then she should have just shut up.

                  1. No, her verbal abuse is because HE is acting like a shithead. He’s never heard or just doesn’t care about being courteous, it doesn’t matter that she’s a police officer, it matters that he’s acting like a fucking asshole BECAUSE she’s a police officer. I guarantee you if someone else asked that question he wouldn’t say “am I being detained?” He’d tell them or say “I don’t want to tell you.” That’d be like if I treated someone like shit because they’re a garbage man.

                3. 2Wheels Avatar

He asked a legitimate question, maybe you don’t like how he phrased it, but it was legitimate… Then she started threatening him with illegal searches and insulting him and verbally abusing him… And you consider that ok? Really? I hope you’re not a cop, I really do.

Her behavior was unacceptable, period. You can’t make excuses for her because you don’t like what he said. She lost her cool and flipped shits for no good reason, and people like that shouldn’t be cops.

                  1. Everyone has a bad day every once in awhile, are they not allowed to blow off steam? I’d rather she did it on someone who was acting like an ass than someone who wasn’t.

Geez, who knew that ‘am I being detained’ was so inflammatory?

          Hey Nick/Dumbass/Troll,
She stopped him for no real reason (no infraction) other than she didn’t like the way he looked (which she admitted later) and he was driving a rental car (fishing for some sort of infraction or criminal activity). She then ask him where he was going, which is none of her business (and she knew that too), but she was fishing for more info. She got pissed when he essentially shut her down by asking if he was being detained.

Extremely unprofessional, and possibly actionable, to threaten an abuse of authority in retribution for a perceived slight, not to mention the insults and cursing. Someone needs a permanent vacation.

          1. If he didn’t like that she was fishing for information, he could’ve shut her down politely instead of like an asshole. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar. She may have been an asshole, but she was just throwing it right back.

Keep on arguing that it is not only acceptable, but also to be expected for a sworn officer to be belligerent and threaten a misuse of authority if anyone ever gives them any sort of perceived attitude. “Am I being detained,” is waaaay over the line. He’s lucky he didn’t get tased, chocked and then shot.

            2. Nick you must live in a perfect world where no one is ever an ass. Sometimes you just have to deal with it and move on and not react like this woman did.

              1. It’s the exact fucking opposite, y’all bastards seem to think that it’s not ok for a cop to chew your ass for acting like a douchebag. Does it hurt your fucking feelings that a cop threatened something? That’d be like if I went and hid in a ditch for a week every time some asshole on the internet claimed he was gonna kill me and my family. It’s a hollow threat that won’t be acted upon. That’s actually a really good point. For all the talk about the DOJ investigating George Zimmerman for “civil rights violations,” the fact is the investigation of a “common citizen” for charges like that is almost unheard of. Prosecutable civil rights violations are almost always done, in fact almost have to be done, under color of law. It’s really hard for me as a private citizen to violate your civil rights, because civil rights are all about protecting the citizenry from the government, not protecting the citizenry from each other.

Therefore, her threat of an illegal search solely for the purposes of intimidation could be seen as a violation of his civil rights, because she’s doing it under color of law.

    2. She asked where he was going at 12 seconds, he avoided the question.
I would like to see the whole stop, not just the last part.

      1. He isn’t required to answer that question.

      2. I do agree — I’d like to see the whole thing. But if she is letting him drive off, the rest of the stop must have been legal.

  22. J dubbya Avatar

Yea, she’s supposed to be held to a higher standard, but hell, she’s human and her job as a uniform officer is stressful. All cops get burnt out if they’ve been on the road long enough. It was unprofessional on her part, and she was treading a very thin line when she made all the threats, but I don’t think she would have followed through. Now, if she actually pulled the guy out of the car and searched his car just for being a douche, then we have a serious problem. I don’t think she would have gone that far, and I think the guy caught her bluff, it’s just that he didn’t want to deal with her pms’ing any further. To me, she’s paying already through the posting of the video. Any good that she did do in the past as an officer is out the window, at least in the eye of the public. At any rate, I don’t think she should lose her job over it. An apology and an unpaid suspension day sounds more reasonable.

Still, we could argue that she was threatening an illegal search and using her position to intimidate the guy, but did she really intend to do that?

According to Reddit and the Huffington Post-Los Angeles edition, this isn’t a LAPD Officer, and the patch on her arm is believed to be an Inglewood Patch. The Inglewood PD hasn’t commented back yet, however the LAPD did review the video and responded: “We reviewed the video and we do not comment on other Law Enforcement Agency traffic stops.” Which would support that she wasn’t one of their officers.

On the Reddit Comments someone mentioned something that made me stop and think, could this be a hoax or maybe a rent-a-cop security guard for the rental lot?

From Supermegafuana on Reddit- “Never seen a cop with their hair down like that.
    Suspicious.”

I also have never seen long hair down like that on a patrol officer, typically it is pulled back or in a bun, typically due to department uniform policies. So that is a little curious to say the least, but the uniform she is wearing appears in the flashes of it you can see to be legit, so who knows.

If this is a real actual encounter with a patrol officer then you have to ask how the hell is this officer going to react when she is in a use of force scenario? If she can’t keep her cool and not threaten to violate multiple regulations and laws on search and seizure then how the hell is she going to keep her cool under fire or when faced with a potential shoot or no shoot issue?

    1. Dr Kranknstein Avatar
      Dr Kranknstein

Yeah I read something like that as well. Their comments were based on the fact her hair was wayyyy out regs for LAPD and that LAPD do not have patches on the sleeves of their uniforms. One comment said it looks like either a BART or Airport officer.

Either way the chick is a major bitch. He should have immediately uploaded the video and just said…Welcome to YouTube.

  28. Being a Californian native (Los Angeles – kill me now)….

“Will this woman lose her badge, or will the incident get swept under the rug?”

Like you even have to ask. LAPD is the biggest gang in this city. This won’t get much more than a couple jokes in the locker room.

    LAPD sucks.

    1. I should also add that, not all cops suck, but here, you have a 1 in 20 chance of running into a cop who isn’t a complete ass hole. If you’re even remotely on the receiving end of their day to day activities, best thing to do is keep your mouth shut, and wait it out, and deal with it in court. Been there done it. Not guilty bitches!

  29. Fortunately it did not escalate
Lots of hair to grab if it did

  30. At all those stating that the guy was being an ass, he was pulled over for no cause then when told he was not being detained she continued to ask him questions. Now at this point whether he had a bit of attitude or not she is in the wrong if this guy was free to go that means she has no need to ask anymore questions of him and should step away from the car so he can leave.

She asked a question after she told him he was ok to go from my listening of this he was re-affirming that he was ok to leave. I would ask the same thing if I was in that situation. Make sure it is ok for me to leave before pulling out since she is continuing to talk.

I don’t care how she talked to him it was rude, unneeded, and unprofessional however the true reason she should be fired on the spot is abuse of power. She knows what she is threatening is against the law but is still trying to threaten this guy into submission. Sounds like the thug in this situation had a light over her car and wore a uniform.

LAPD doesn’t wear shoulder patches. The other observation I’ll make is, LAPD is a pretty squared away agency as it relates to dress and grooming standards. No way a female LAPD officer is going to get past her local command wearing a long head of hair like that.

As for whether the woman conducted herself appropriately and as a professional, the video speaks for itself.
