Tactical Parkour Complete With Laser Assisted Axe Aiming

SOG knives goes full derp operator mall ninja:

Annoying how it never shows the throw and the hit in one continuous clip.  Always the throw *cut* the hit.  Done that way for obvious reasons.

SOG-Tactical-Laser-Axe0:43 – LOL a laser on an axe.  Me = dying of laughter.

I really hope tactical axes start being the tertiary weapon of choice.  How would Starbucks like open axe carry?  Only one way to find out…

Thoughts?  Would operate with?

  1. Well, if they ask you to leave, you could just say, “It’s okay, I’m a lumberjack.” Or offer to finely chop their beans.

    THE COFFEE BEANS!

You should probably wear women’s clothing to pull off the lumberjack bit, though. And skip and jump. Maybe press some wild flowers.

Would NOT operate with… Where’s the picatinny rails to mount my micro red dots or strobing weapon lights? This is obviously for Tier 7 operators not the T -1 operators operating in operations… Even so… It has a laser so it’s mall ninja approved.

    1. no..no..noo…NO!

Lasers will give away your position to the ninjas!!!!!!

Yall know this video was most likely inspired from the reddit / 4chan spetsnaz meme, right?

The origin however is a deleted scene from Rambo, not actual Spetsnaz.

    1. Actually your link states the reverse.

      Actual spetnatz.

  4. Lololololol. Great find, although these are tomahawks, not axes. SOG’s Fasthawk I think.

They’re good, but mounting a laser hardly does anything besides making it look silly (and breaking your laser, more than likely).

  5. Was this operation performed at the Vipers Academy? Looks like their obstacle course.

  6. ya laser on the axe was the best lulz, what a badass…

This appeared on HK’s and Arcteryx’s facebook feeds. What disappoints me most are the overwhelming amount of positive feedback and comments praising this stuff.

Mike, can we expect to see ENDO apparel: Laser Tomahawks?

  8. Ha ha ha ha wtf mogwa wouldn’t approve c

  10. It’s not that they made a mall ninja video; it’s that they did it without a hint of irony.

i carry one, but for select reasons.

no, a laser sight is a horrible choice. whats wrong with you.

the one i carry is marketed as a “breaching tool” and its uses for that are excellent for prying open stuck doors, cutting through thin metal, etc.

i mostly use it as a wilderness survival tool, for chopping wood and the like, which it excels at.

as far as actual, throwing type tomohawk use, you would be amazed to find that in actual combat, they are not thrown much, even when used by the native americans who created them. they are a chopping tool, not a throwing one, though they could be used that way in a pinch. (if i didn’t have a gun, i sure as hell would try) the odds of “sticking” are low, mostly what you are going to see are bounce offs because the handle hit it.

While you try to line up your fancy laser tomahawk instead of just winging that sucker, Indiana Jones is gonna put two in your chest and one in your head.
