Long-Stroke AR-15 Piston System Cutaway In Action

When PWS isn’t making mediocre first episodes of cartoons, they make other videos:

Weapons-Education-RetardationDat cutaway.  Really neat that so much can be removed for viewing, but still is safe enough to fire.

Will I ever get sick of seeing brass fly in slow motion? Answer: NO.

Thoughts?

Can’t understand why they make a big deal about the gas piston keeping carbon out of the receiver. It does that very effectively and I think it’s a brilliant system, but it’s hardly revolutionary is it? It’s been around for years.
On another note, I’m very impressed by the cutaway, it’s brilliant in slow motion.

An AR with a long piston? Quick! Someone make a direct impingement AK (make it out of aluminum for maximum trolling).

That was some of the best machine porn I’ve ever seen.

Why is there a picture of Weapons Retardation, in the caption? PWS puts out way better videos then he does. Even their mediocre Half Cocked series, is better than anything Weapons Retardation can come up with.

I just used it for the “HELL YEAH” look he has in the pic. I agree, PWS > WR even on a bad day.

Would be a good video for the TV show “How It’s Made”.
