Assault Drill

Banned in 38 states, and all Walmarts:

Assault-Drill

Never forget the drill massacre in ’04.  Oh wait, that never happened…. ban assault drills anyway.  NO ONE needs this kind of drilling capacity for home improvements with high capacity lithium batteries.

Maybe we can meet halfway on an assault drill registry?

  1. B&D? Ppssshhhh. Milwaukee FTW. I just ordered an assault impact wrench for work. 700ft/lbs peak, 1100ft/lbs nut busting (tee hee). No honest person needs 700ft/lbs peak torque in a cordless impact wrench. Don’t get me started on the absurd run time of the XC 4.0 Redlithium batteries. Buy a tire iron!

  2. nobody needs these assaullt drills, pistol grips on drills just allow you to drill from the hip. I know that our founding fathers didn’t consider automatic drills when the were writing the drilling manual.

I just heard on the news that these drills can be easily converted to automatic drivers as well, if it saves just one child it’s worth it

  3. You can have it when you pry it from my cold dead toolbox
because if you outlaw drills, only outlaws will be able to drill

Sorry to be the killjoy in a typical den of snark and smacktalk, but I got to thinking: a shoulder stock could be a really practical/useful option when you want to drill with more leverage. You could put your body weight into it.
But don’t forget the should thing that goes up.

    1. yeah but if this was a serious idea, he’d be running a red dot.

    2. I was going to add that too.

That was my first thought. Very handy.

But we also need a high capacity clip for the drill bits that I keep snapping or losing.

In other words, “it’s just a tool”. Still, if you carried this thing in public, you’d still be shot by police.

Possibly; some bad guys get shot after committing robberies with replica weapons..

  6. Does this make corded drills the equivalent of belt feeds?

  7. This needs to be a t-shirt . . .

I don’t see a “bullet-button” attachment on the drill to slow-down replacing the battery; Felony.
