The 2nd Amendment Shall Not Be Re-Worded To Your Liking

Oh but whatevs, says a Springfield, IL middle school superintendent:

2nd-amendment-too-scary-for-kids

This amendment states that people have the right to certain weapons, providing that they register them and they have not been in prison. The founding fathers included this amendment to prevent the United States from acting like the British who had tried to take weapons away from the colonists.

Superintendent Bob Hill argued that “no place in the book does it portray that that is the Second Amendment — it’s a study guide summary of the Second Amendment and the impact of the Second Amendment on the lives of people today.” In “reality,” he added, some places do require the registration of firearms.

Hill also claimed the material is not “proselytizing” a certain political point of view and said removing the material at this point in time is “pretty unfair relative to what the teacher has going on.” Micromanaging teachers in the district by reviewing all material they want to teach, he said, would be insulting to educators.

LOL yea, trust a school to find “militia”, “keep and bear arms”, and “shall not be infringed” too scary for the kids, so they just decide to teach them the wrong stuff instead.  God forbid a teacher be corrected, how insulting that would be.  At least the cartoon isn’t anti-gun.  It reads “I didn’t think you were a gunslinger.”  “I’m not but I have the right to protect my home.” then the cat says “Sounds constitutional to me.”….. unless that smug cat is being condescending?

Friends and neighbors – this is the one, single, only place I am utterly sure of a conspiracy. Not the NWO or Bohemmian Grove or the CFR- nope just based on the NEA’s comments about firearms there is no doubt in my mind this and all the suspensions over Lego guys, cap pistols, and pop-tart pieces are all part and parcel of an intentional effort to teach children from git go that guns are bad, only police and soldiers (government) should have them and they’re something that should be controlled. If children grow up hearing the 2A says they should be registered eventually a Liberal-Progressive-whatever the title is at that point will push for 100% registration or an outright ban and every one of the kids who have been hearing they should be will shrug and say “Sure, heck I thought they already were-” Ain’t like it’s the first tiem they’ve done it… rightly or wrongly they did it with racism, sexism, planned parenthood , gravity, god., and now global warming- I AM NOT SAYING THESE WERE GOOD OR BAD, BUT they illustrate a concerted effort to “mold” children’s minds… and yes I said “MOLD”.

    1. Maybe. During my education in the 90s, the slow and creeping realization that much of what I was being taught in class was simple propaganda or outright lies (e.g. the entirety of the DARE class, and much of social studies/history classes), provided an important lesson. Many children are, in fact, perfectly capable of discovering on their own that they are being lied to. In many cases, it accelerates their resolve to learn the truth for themselves.

Good luck trying to mold my 4-year old girl. She helps me load my AR-15 magazines, and keeps asking when she is going to be able to go hunt deer with papa and grandpapa. Propaganda works both ways, and when it comes to firearms, once you’ve enjoyed the fun once, it is impossible to jump back into the antis’ matrix.

      – I did similar as a kid out in New Mexico- was PROUD when I got my first 22 at ten years old and positively freaked internally when I was handed my Model 94… I was big enough at 13 to Deer Hunt with the adults- my state shooting class and license proived it. Today I worry what’ll happen if I take my grandson to the range and post a photo on facebook or e-mail one to someone showing him shooting. Will friends see it and ostrasize or ridicule him? Will his friend parents push him away for friendships because he’s a Red Necked son of a Red Neck? Will a future employer or future medical type see it and wonder if he’s become a mass-murderer in waiting. Just worries me when I see all these photos of kids and guns as much as I love to make loud noises on perfectly good days at the range. Just don’t trust the way things are turning out… pisserr is us in “flyover:” country are out numbered by the common ruck inthe big coastal cities… and the kids all over are getting brainwashed by the Common Core adding those little things to the 2A that aren’t there or watching 7 year olds sent home for t-shirts, Lego guns and/or Pop-Tart Pistols. Eventually those kids will vote and out number kids like yours and my grand kids…

For those that haven’t dug deeper into this story, this is part of the “Common Core” curriculum. It goes way deeper than just rewriting the constitution. My niece came home with homework where she was instructed not to get help from her parents and that this is a new way to do things and only teachers can help. I would suggest everyone educate themselves on common core and it’s new replacement (which is essentially common core with a new name.)
