Some Rifles Are Assaulty Looking And Therefore Bad

This is pretty standard anti-gun rhetoric:

Assault-Rifles-Vs-Regular-Rifles

Yawn. I really wish they would get new material. The whole “this rifle looks scary” thing just shows their ignorance.

The NEED argument is getting annoying too.  Come up with something better.

Thoughts?

  1. Also you missed my big point. Both are “High Capacity Military Style Rifles”, so what is the artist saying anyway?

i don’t think we need political cartoonists and feel they should be first against the wall when the revolution comes. in the meantime i think they should be registered and have to pay a licensing fee every 3 years to draw. i also think they should be made, with extreme prejudice, to work a real job and only be allowed to make their pictures after they have put in a real 12 hour day.

i feel a real disconnect with a world where people feel their beliefs should be held by everyone and there is something wrong with those who don’t. i feel a real disconnect in a world where people champion diversity but only on the things they want and where they are closed minded on issues that scare them. i feel a real disconnect in a world where logical discussion and real dialogues are replaced with rhetoric and bloviating on both sides.

makes me want to go out and get a “Calvin peeing on *something* ” sticker for my car.

    1. Solid point, Jim ! Thanks !

My car has a spoiler and a tachometer. Must be a street-racer, right? (Ignore the 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission.) Looks can be deceiving, can’t they?

OMG the 2nd amendment is Sooo obsolete. So is the 1st amendment! Like, as long as I have my iPhone and Twitter who needs those old things? I mean, this is America, we are so civilized. I mean look, no murders, no racism, no danger exists anymore! Who needs a assault rifle with a clipazine? Ewww.

So this guy’s version of the world is one with rifles from 1874? And he thinks we’re disconnected from reality?

Actually, the rifles from 1874 had big assed bayonets on them, some as long as 3 feet. So… they’re actually scarier than just a lever action. :P

Yeah. I think it’s time to go back to the drawing board. Or not.

upvote for you if I could. a video made ~1989 showing more information than I have seen in a while.

  8. So in the future, will we see a political cartoon like this of an AK next to a Phaser?

  9. When I hear the word computer, I think about something that looks like this:

But as I understand it, computers today more often look like this:

What on earth is this thing?

I guess Eric Holder should have focused on a more broad spectrum of brainwashing.

I bet that next time this hipster rents an electric car for some kind of cool activity, like looking for double rainbows, he’d be very surprised if he was given this : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Jamais_Contente

The exact same could be said for “wife.” They way she used to look, how you handled her, longevity, performance, reliability, her delicateness to what were her responsibilities…..same comparison.

    …….yeah I said it…..

It’s called the Bill of Rights, not the bill of needs. And the whole “disconnected from the one ‘I’ live in” part, who asked you opinion, what qualifies you to have this opinion and why should I care? What qualifies me to give these opinions is that I own firearms that look like both of those. And if you don’t like the one then don’t look at it.

These idiots watch way too many Hollywood movies. The rifle above that AK likely carries a bigger and deadlier caliber. Both of them do the exact same thing, which is propel a projectile at high speeds downrange. If this idiot substituted his drawings for a Honda and a Ferrari next to each other, and had the same hysterics, he would be laughed out of town. Laughter is the best remedy against these fools.

  13. Moreover this guy drew the AK-like with the selector on “Safe”, so I don’t know what he’s complaining about… The Winchester has no external safety on his picture…

  14. Yeah wouldn’t it be neat if the government outlawed and confiscated everything they decided you don’t “need”.
