I saw today that I received numerous emails, and messages on the previous post asking what I was up to, and how I was doing. I didn’t think anyone would care what I was up to if it was non gun related, but now I see that some of you do. If I am ever not going to be blogging for days at a time i’ll post a short note just so you know I’m not dead.
Thanks a lot for your concern. I had no idea anyone would even notice my absence.
I had to laugh at AntiBubba’s comment in the previous post:
To keep things legal, you should change this blog’s name to “Every Day, One Week Off”
Initially I planned to blog off of my netbook, but In a embarrassing rookie mistake I decided to torrent a TV show (which I don’t normally do outside of a virtual machine) and managed to get a virus. To make it even more embarrassing and textbook rookie, it was one of those fake windows update type ones. Yea I clicked it LOL. I keep telling myself that I might have already had the virus at that point, before I actually clicked “update”, and that the official look of it was just to fool n00bs.
As the title of the post says, I am currently in Hood River, Oregon. Let me tell you, google street view does NOT do this place (and many other places) justice. Besides the fact that it is insanely beautiful, there are also basically no bugs, the weather is perfect (right now anyway) and I’ve been told that in winter, when it does snow it’s gone in an hour or two. House and condo prices are surprisingly reasonable. I am considering a move. The gun laws here appear to be good too… Open and concealed carry are permitted (with some restrictions) and as far as I can tell there are no NFA items that are not allowed, so that is always nice.
For those that have never been to Hood River, you can see Mount Adams from pretty much everywhere. Behind the town is Mount Hood (which is equally as impressive) and you can see it plain as day once you are higher up. I am staying at my sister’s place, and I can see Mount Adams all the time from the front two levels, and the top of mount hood from the rear 2nd level.
This was my view of Mount Adams yesterday morning:

Thanks again for the concern guys. I don’t know how long i’ll be here for yet, but i’ll be back to blogging full force when I do return home. I haven’t even looked at one gun related thing since I got here, so I’ll have tons of catching up to do. I might even knock off a post or two here once I get my own netbook back in working order. I’m just about to head out to Multnomah falls for a hike. I’ll reply to your emails and commments soon.
Take care,
-Mike

It’s that time of year again…
For the bi-annual Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in West Point, KY. Held this year on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of April.
For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Machine gun shoot, it is legendary for so many reasons. One being the “Night Shoot”:

A search for “knob creek” on youtube will yield hundreds of other epic videos.
My Glock Stock Adapter will be represented there this year, and be in action at position #20 on dual G18 Glocks in the center of the main firing line.
Unfortunately I won’t personally be there. But, I will be posting videos and pictures sometime after the weekend.
Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot Website – HERE
I think it’s safe to say that the $10 admission would be money well spent.

As SayUncle does often, he was nice enough to link to one of my posts yesterday morning. This particular post was on the ABC/FOX “grenade launcher” story. (Hat tip goes to Josh for the original story idea)
I know in the past SayUncle has had a number of his posts linked to by Instapundit (a hugely popular news website). I remember being in awe of the traffic he was getting.
The Packetman saw the post on SayUncle and forwarded my link to his contact at ABC.
I can only speculate the chain of events that occurred after that, which led to my post being picked up by Instapundit. I definitely saw a huge spike in traffic.
10414 visitors yesterday. That is about 7000 more visitors than an average day for this blog.
Hopefully some of those visitors keep coming back.
Thanks to EVERYONE that links up my articles on their blog. And thank you to the people that comment. It makes all this worthwhile.
I hope I am returning the favor with some traffic, giving credit where credit is due by referring to your blogs in turn when you post about something before anyone else in my feed reader.

I didn’t blog about the SHOT show, or reply to very many comments yesterday because I was busy making this:

With his trip to the 2010 Las Vegas SHOT show a day away, Hitler gets angry when he finds out he was not notified of the reality regarding the 4th Generation Glock models.
Hopefully you guys have as much fun watching it, as I did making it.
I’d really appreciate if you would subscribe to my YouTube channel.

For those of you that don’t follow new technology, the Amazon Kindle DX wireless reading device was released today!
I made my blog available on the Kindle. If you buy one of these new Kindle DX models, or even if own the older Kindle you can sign up to receive my blog on a free 14 day trial.

If I had my way I would make it free forever, but Amazon has a fancy 3G network they use to deliver the information for free to your Kindle… So I guess they need to pay for it somehow.
Currently, blogs are priced at $0.99 to $2 per month. Amazon decides on the price, the blog owner has no input.
Note to my fellow bloggers:

I like guns for the same reasons I like mechanical watches:
- They don’t require batteries or cables
- Their function is simple and fairly easy (most of the time) to troubleshoot
- They require very little maintenance in order to keep running
- They can be passed down from generation to generation and still function perfectly
- They don’t require upgrades or the payment of a monthly fee in order to stay functional
- You don’t need to buy a new model every year because the one you own is now obsolete
- They have a certain peacefulness to them
Why do you guys like guns? Let me know in the comments!

From what I see in my stats, there are quite a few of you that follow my blog using the RSS Feed.
For those that don’t know what RSS is, it stands for “Really Simple Syndication”, and it is a really lightweight way to view my blog content from your computer, cellphone, iPod, etc…
It is definitely not as pretty as coming to the actual blog, because the formatting is very minimal, and the way the pictures are displayed may not be optimal. Some users may prefer it though, for various reasons.
Readers that were using RSS before, when I just provided the article summary, will be able to enjoy the updated feed now automatically.
I am hoping that providing a full content RSS feed comes with an increase in readership and interaction.
Let me know what’s on your mind, and please comment when you have a thought on a post that interests you.
I really appreciate the huge growth that my blog has seen over the last few months. Thank you to those that are visiting on a regular basis, and thank you also to the bloggers that continue to link back to articles on my blog.
The more traffic and comments I get, the more I feel motivated to provide interesting new posts.
Thanks again,
-Mike

Just got around to putting up another video.
I continuously ran over one of my Tactical Stock Adapters for around half an hour. It was clear nothing was going to happen and I figured I had enough footage, so I cut it up and just showed a few of the different angles so it wouldn’t be as boring.
The plastic is fiber reinforced so it can handle much more weight then a Honda Ridgeline, but it was the heaviest vehicle I had access too.

This is a rendered animation showing 360 degrees worth of detail on the Tactical Stock Adapter for the Glock.
The white lines around the contours were rendered in to make the detail stand out.
The actual part in real life is solid black, but the detail is still very noticeable.

ACUPAT

Beretta 92 & Beretta M9

Enjoy! I will be putting more themes together whenever I have time

This post is long overdue, but I wanted to have the blog all set up and working before I did it.
As you may or may not know, in addition to running this blog I own ENDO TACTICAL INC. The only product on the market from us at the moment is the Tactical Stock Adapter for the Glock. Available for purchase using Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover securely through the website.
It allows any AR-15 / M16 / M4 shoulder stock to be used with the Glock models G17, G20, G21, G22, G24, G31, G34, G35, and G18 including the Long (L), Compensated (C), and Rough Textured Frame (RTF) versions of each.
Please visit the products section of the website HERE for all the details!

Above is an example of how you can configure your Glock with different shoulder stocks. In the picture the Magpul CTR is on the left, and the elusive magpul UBR on the right.
To get a better idea what your Glock will look like with different stocks and accessories you can visit the weapon profiler and fool around with it to create configurations such as this one:
