• Old Man With AR-15 Tattoo Eyebrows

    Oh man this is wild:

Bold move.  I made a comment on Instagram about how I was surprised he didn’t get 1911 eyebrows instead (low hanging 1911-is-for-old-men joke naturally).  Someone in the comments mentioned that he was old enough to be in Vietnam, so it’s a period correct rifle.

  • Coat Hanger Machine Gun – DIAS Turns A Semi-Auto Into Auto

    haha oh man:

From the video description: “I am an 07/02 SOT weapons manufacturer. Viewers are reminded that duplication of this device is a violation of federal and many state laws. Do not try this at home.”

Here’s a video he made of him dropping it in the semi auto lower and test firing it with blanks:

Fellas, I’m telling you… you better get rid of all your metal coat hangers and all your shoelaces too just to make sure.

Thoughts?  All my shoes are velcro and all my coat hangers are plastic.

  • Less-Lethal Option Attached To S&W Model 10 Revolver

    Genius 😏:

When does the Glock version come out?

He mentions using it to hit someone in the video, but the patent shows its purpose was intended to be a barrel extension.  I’m assuming it was designed to be carried and used as a baton until the officer wanted to extend the barrel for whatever reason, like more velocity and better accuracy.  Kind of a lot to ask, if they were looking at turning a S&W model 10 into something surgical at long range.

  • How Guns And Bullets Don’t Work

    Someone should tell Discovery Channel:

haha good stuff.  They aren’t the first, and they won’t be the last to make that mistake.

  • Shooting An AR-15 With Your Index Finger Is So Last Year

This is how the woke people in 2019 are doing it.  Try and catch up SwEaTy 💅:

$1350 on the Iron Horse firearms website for an entire thumb operated rifle.  Here’s what they say the advantages are:

The TOR model has several advantages over traditional trigger implementations, allowing shooters maximum control by employing the strongest digit on the hand. Additionally force applied to the trigger is inline with the shooters center of aim, opposed to traditional left or light error common with traditional trigger pull.

    • Shortened learners curve for new shooters
    • Increased dexterity in cold weather conditions
    • Trigger guard completely encases the trigger which eliminates the chance of snagging the trigger in brush or dense vegetation
    • Alternative to standard trigger design for disabled shooters

I’ll just take their word for it.  It’s a double edged sword I guess… I did keep asking for “innovation” in this industry.  That said… user ebxt6 in the Instagram comments said this was a 100 year old idea from Winchester… Sure enough, I had to look no further than industry OG Big Larry Pimpin Potterfield:

  • Will The Prosecution Love It? Talking About Firearm Appearance

haha an actual prosecutor says that the prosecution LOVES the bullshit you put on your gun:

0:45 – “We’re talking things like punisher… swear words etc..”

People LOVE to argue about this topic (“ACKCHYUALLY…” *see thumbnail picture*), like they have never watched a criminal case on TV or read about one anywhere.  The prosecution will literally USE anything to try to convince a jury.  I don’t know how people figure this would be any different in the realm of a self defense shooting they might be involved in.
