Mattv2099 breaks it down:

Clip-On-DrugsIf you didn’t get the “clip on drugs” reference you’re a youngster (catch up here).

Mattv2099 with the 1000 yard stare, scowl, and a whole lot of lead downrange:

This magazine obviously has no sporting purpose, and is only intended to kill hundreds of people.  Write your lawmakers and ask them to keep high capacity 600 round assault magazines out of the hands of the public.  If it only saves one life…

Another danger is that it’s so concealable.  You could EASILY slip that magazine inside a 8ft bamboo shoot and stroll around in public, without anyone having any idea.  That’s scary.

Also, as it was pointed out on facebook, we need to ban high capacity assault ladders.  There is just no reason a ladder should have over 7 rungs.  You take the ladder out of the equation and the shooter is forced to use stilts, which will likely make them an easier target for good samaritans to knock over and save innocent lives.

And to think, days ago I was only worried about the 64 round high capacity assault magazines.

Mattv2099 said he got these before Glock stopped making them:

Glock-High-Capacity-64-Round-Assault-Clips-MagazinesNo wonder they are discontinued… those things look terrifying.

0:57 – LOL and I thought the 120 round high capacity snake clip was a game changer.  He’s going to be shooting that beast in a upcoming video… no telling how many lives will be lost.

Thoughts? Ban electrical tape?

Get your jammies on and grab a drink and some popcorn:

I made it to about 45 seconds and saw enough… so I skipped… and skipped… and then saw it complete.

If you’re not familiar with Defense Distributed’s magazine making 3D printing efforts check that linked post.

In my opinion you’re better off doing what I did above, and then using your spare time to watch this 5 hour Adriana Lima 1080p checkered flag waving video:

Adriana-LimaIf you skip through any of the above video you’re doing an injustice to yourself, and you’ll make my girl Adriana cry. ;)

I know some of your hardcores live by the code “MOB”, where the M stands for magazines.  haha

If nothing else, you’ll at least look cool running one of these:

A demo of a lot of insertions and removals:

Seems to work as intended!  My concern though is that dump pouches are awesome because they keep your empty mags separate from your full ones… eliminating the chance of you grabbing an empty magazine under stress.  This system requires that you remember that you have full ones mixed with empty ones, and where you put them.  I’m not saying operators won’t or shouldn’t operate with them… but I am saying it might be risky if you carry a rifle/magazines around to protect your life.

Reflex-Magazine-Pouch

For $30 from Regulation Tactical (Note: If your ass is a busta 213 will regulate), they might be worth a try, even if just for the novelty.  My guess is the entire Airsoft market is having a seizure they want these things so bad.

Since it was in TIME, you know it’s a fact:

AR15-Time-Magazine-45-Rounds-Per-Minute

LOL that’s right… 45 rounds per minute with a semi-automatic AR-15.  People are apparently capable of pulling the trigger once every 1.33 seconds.  Impressive… OH WAIT…

When people spout scary facts about guns which are hilariously wrong, even if it makes guns look scarier, I correct them just to make them feel dumb.  If you can’t pull the trigger at least 2 time per second, you probably have arthritis or some other finger/joint issue.  So at 2 rounds per second that would be 120 rounds per minute.

The icing on the cake though is truly the silhouette of the AK-47 they used.

Bravo TIME on your accurate reporting. *slow clap*

Maybe the graphic artist knew exactly what he/she was doing though?  Recall the subtle Glock Grenade troll in TIME’s special ops edition.  Ladies and gentlemen we might have pro-gun a mole-troll inside TIME.
