Yesterday was the SAFE act assault weapon registration deadline.  Here’s an example of how someone filled out the form:

Haha, I’m sure they’ll get a real kick out of that.  So much assault.  Government organizations always have the best sense of humor.

Gun owners who lawfully possessed guns that are now on the banned list were allowed to keep their weapons, but had to register them with the state police. They were also given the option of selling their guns to a licensed New York dealer or out-of-state buyer by Jan. 15 of this year.

Those who fail to comply could face a misdemeanor charge or — if they were already disqualified from owning a gun because of a prior criminal conviction or other reason — a potential felony.

What will actually end up happening… who knows?

Sometimes laws have to be made to protect us from ourselves:

Sometimes I feel like I have too much freedom… like at any moment I could snap drink 5 gallons of Coke, find out what exactly “trans fats” are and each a bunch of those… potato chips?  I know I could google, but that sounds like work right now because I’m left hand occupied elbow deep in a bowl of popcorn… wait does pre-buttered/salted popcorn have transfats? After all that I’d build an AR-15 on a whim.

FXhummel1-YouTube-Gun-SongsTactical Tunes will now never open for Kanye at Madison Square Garden.  It’s a shame…

People don’t need guns in NYC… the police are apparently good enough:

0:02 – Stellar trigger discipline J

0:59 – LOL some guy (likely from Portland ) said he should be shot in the face.  Sounds like a good enough reason to me to want to protect yourself.

3:19 – Is this guy talking from a shooting range, or did he just finish shooting?  If not, let me be the first to say he looks really special.

John Stossel is the man.  I’ve like him ever since someone on here told me to watch the Freeloaders special he made.

The first episode of the 2nd season:

LOL this series slays me.  Bloomberg as Hitler… classic.

Nice touch that it went black and white when he crossed into New York.

Only the girls working / shopping at American Apparel and old ladies can pull this look off:

OH NOES, gun shows brought back to Westchester County *googles Westchester County* OH NOES! NEW YORK!  haha

0:08 – Making it easier for the criminals and the mentally ill to buy guns.  <— “Gun show loophole” alive and well

0:13 – Sup?

Wait… I’m assuming the people they lost were killed at gun shows, right?  Oh they weren’t?  Were the guns all bought directly from gun shows?  In Westchester County even?

Long, but interesting:

As much as I hate to ever agree with the people who are trying to restrict magazine capacity for “our safety”, it does still seem to me like a good point where an active shooter could possibly mess up under stress, despite their “test” showed it really doesn’t.  Hardly a “real world” type test though when it comes to stress levels.  Where this whole OMG BAN HIGH CAPACITY ASSAULT CLIPS thing gets retarded though, is why would someone who wanted to kill a large number of people even consider using limited capacity magazines?  Exactly, they wouldn’t because there are (and forever will be) millions of regular capacity magazines available for all popular firearms. Oh wait though, you know what.. they might not use them though if they are illegal, because they don’t want the extra charges. *snicker*

New York Reload T-Shirt10:44 – Start of the New York Reload test.  hahah I loved the tossing of the revolvers; ban high capacity revolver holding bags!
