Super Soaker Shotgun

Officer Safety Bulletin for the Hillsborough County Sheriffs Office (training Bulletin # TB-09-003. Dated Feb 23rd, 2009.)

On Feb 22nd, 2009 a patrol Deputy came across the above child’s super soaker. However what was found inside the power soaker was a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun. Both the shotgun and the water soaker were fully functional.

Hopefully this doesn’t create panic in the law enforcement community which results in kids getting shot over harmless pointing of super soakers at police

Teach your kids not to point stuff at police offers, DUH!!

“RH: Teach your kids not to point stuff at police offers, DUH!!”

Yeah, or be a good police officer and don’t shoot at someone just ’cause he’s pointing a super soaker, which in 99.99999% of cases will actually just be a super soaker… DUH!!!
Killing someone over a 0.00001% chance of a risk would be kinda disproportionate, wouldn’t it???
I’m a PC myself and will not start being paranoid over super soakers just because of this isolated fact!

@ Franz, “Be a good police officer”, seriously? What is a “PC”?

Perciville May 24, 2012 at 12:12 am

Raphael, are you that stupid? PC, Police Constable. Maybe you just like in your town and don’t get out much.
Franz, hope you make it’s home every night. Someone dumb enough to point a fake gun at a cop, deserves what they get from a cop with a real gun.

Where I come from they just call them Police Officers, cops, pigs, etc…I had never heard of a PC before now and my dad/brother/both grandfathers and best friends are/were PO’s. Calling people stupid because your town uses an obsolete name for cops only makes you look equally arrogant and stupid.

I really just commented on a 2 year old post by accident…crap.

Perciville June 8, 2012 at 12:37 am

Do you live in Escondido San Marcos or something dillankid?

Dilhack June 8, 2012 at 12:50 am

Big cities in Nebraska, Tennessee and Ohio. Places plenty advanced in their police work.

Dilkick October 21, 2012 at 09:36 am

Meaningless backwaters in the goiter belt.

Right on the cutting edge of law enforcement, tooth care and incest.

Dilhack October 21, 2012 at 01:43 pm

Omaha, Columbus and Knoxville/Chattanooga…backwoods? Really? You must live in the Republik.

because disguising a gun as something a kid has no qualms about picking up and pointing at his friends while pulling the trigger is pure genius

This is why we can’t have nice things.
