Terrorism watch on Open Carry in Long Beach California

The quality is bad, but it reads:

“100 members of the Open Carry movement with holstered but unloaded weapons met in Walnut Creek”

It’s pretty sad to see that lumped in with SERIOUS issues and incidents that could affect safety in our country.

  1. It also mentions 3 bullets (*cough*) up:

“TED Conference, February 9-13, Long Beach…”

TED doesn’t have anything to do with TERRORISM, but could be a Law Enforcement/Traffic issue.

This isn’t a “Terrorism” brief so much as a “These are things happening in the area that are of interest to Law Enforcement”. In other words, a normal brief.

It’s *from* the Office Of Counter Terrorism. And it’s their Brief.

I don’t see the sinister plot here. My $0.02.

I thought the brief was about notifying the department of possible recent events that could lead to terrorism, recent terrorism incidents that occurred, and events to note that are high profile and might be of interest to terrorists wanting to make a statement.
