Several years ago there was an interesting sign in front of a little strip-shopping center in a small town near where I live. In the shopping center was a childcare place, a donut shop, and a hunting supply store. The big sign out front read “Guns, Donuts, Daycare”…
It seemed perfectly normal to me, at the time. I’ve often wished since then that I had bothered to take a picture of it. Businesses have changed over the years, and now the sign simply reads “Guns, Donuts, Archery”…. it just doesn’t have the same impact now :)
Ha ha. That reminded me of the episode where the cat burglar is stealing things all over town and Homer starts a neighborhood watch. I think Marge complains about all the people in the house with guns (as they get ready to go on patrol) and how dangerous it is. Homer is trying to convince her that they’re all responsible adults and can handle weapons while in the background you hear several gunshots followed by, “Sorry, my fault” and, “That was me.”

lol guns, donuts, daycare… awesome. Yea back in the day no one would have even batted an eyelash at that… but now there would be so much outcry.

Its in the City of Industry, CA its a nice little mom and pop gun shop. The Donut shop is pretty awesome as well.

That is something we need around here where I live, A gun shop/donut and coffee shop, where I can go to drink some coffee and talk politics and guns.
Maybe your local Starbucks will diversity into gun sales. :P
