Glock 2010 Fiscal Year Announcement

No surprise that Glock had a great year.

I was surprised to find out at the U.S. headquarters only employs 197 people.  I wonder how many people are employed by the company as a whole?

74 of those U.S. employees are product liability attorneys.

Interesting about the number of employees; I didn’t know if that should seem like a lot or not. Wikipedia says that Sig Sauer (which is just the U.S. part of Sig) has 280+ employees. Both companies just import everything right? So, it would just be a bunch of office people I suppose. Sales reps, marketing department, customer service, legal dept… I suppose they have repair facilities here too. It would be kind of interesting to see exactly what the U.S. headquarters of either company consists of.

Could you actually say 196 employees since Mrs. Abbate is no longer with them?

I don’t know that she would have been considered an employee, but if she were, I’d say the collective “hotness” of Glock employees must have gone down with her departure.

You hit the nail on the head Pete. That site pisses me off every time I go there for some “information”. Hell, i’d almost be willing to update their site for free if they would let me.

yeah, especially considering the expense they go through to put out their “Annual” every year….

hehe yea I love too how some places give that annual away for free, yet bookstores and other places charge for it.
