Her stance and cheek weld is terrible. I would have expected the ATF agents to give her better instruction, considering she could have ended up with a nice bruise on her cheek bone from the stock hitting it.

“They know how to drop those chambers in,” that’s a good one. Also, she said something about the AR-15 being one of the favorites, and how they’re easily converted. While she’s saying that it shows her firing an AR-15-type rifle. That looks to be a Colt model 715 (or very close relative). I’m guessing that’s what it is because it has the A2 handguards, forward assist, and brass deflector, but an A1 rear sight (I wouldn’t think that there are aftermarket companies that would make a civilian copy AR-15 but use the A1 style rear sight). The 715 is select-fire full-auto already, no conversion necessary. The 719 looks the same but is select-fire 3-round burst.
“Here, take this semi-automatic AR-15 style weapon. See how it only fires one shot? Now let me show you how easy it is to convert to full auto. *flips firing selector* Now it is fully-automatic. See how easy it is? We cannot let civilians have these, can we?”
hahha yea damn that selector switch. I hear those switches are being produced on the black market and get into the wrong hands.
Also its kind of funny how she says the bullets go right through kevlar: just like any hunting rifle would. The interceptor body armor does have ballistic plates for a reason….

If this media range visit was about the safe handling of firearms you would be right. Sadly they want to show how dangerous and scary the evil black rifles are…so the more she gets pushed around by it the more deadly and powerful they look.
It’s all about P.R. and setting up the scene for the reporters that you want them to see. ATF knows they likely have no firearms knowledge so whatever they say will be gospel. We will see more and more of these reports because chiefs of police associations and other gun grabbers can’t get any traction with politicians that want to keep their job/seat so they are trying to change Joe Public’s opinion of guns
