Deranged Gunman Opens Fire On Shooting Range

Hilarious article over at TheOnion:

A man described by eyewitnesses as “unsettled” and “disturbed” walked into the local Guns Galore Shooting Range early Tuesday morning, paid for a half hour’s worth of time, and then calmly opened fire on dozens of unsuspecting targets.

I guess The Onion isn’t pro-gun. Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever read a report that so slandered and mis-characterized gun ownership and accompanying hobbies, like the so-called “violent” sport of hunting.

The Onion is hilarious. They can take just about any mundane event and turn it into some sensational-sounding story. I’m no avid reader, but my favorite one I’ve seen is this, which I saw taped on someone’s dorm room door in college, ten years ago:

hehe yea the official look of the article on that site sometime fool me too, especially in an RSS reader where there is no formatting, just the text.
