Chris Morris’ highly anticipated feature follows four young Muslim men on a thrillingly fictional story which illuminates the radicalised British jihad and undermines the folly of western culture’s attempts to alienate them.

Four Lions movie website – HERE

Looks like it has potential. I can’t find any info on if/when it will be showing in U.S. theaters.

The move ends when Delta shoots them all in the face.

Looks funny none the less, but I think we’re becoming too desensitized to Radical Islam. This would be the equivalent of a communist comedy during the 1960’s, or a Hitler comedy during the 1940’s.

    1. Well after the out right laughable amateurish job that was attempted in Times Square, maybe this movie isn’t too far off? LOL

  2. I think the trailer looks very funny, too- But I agree with Trajan about us being desensitized. Its easy for people to watch something like this and start to think that terrorists are loveably goofy and just misunderstood. After all, they have funny British accents, just like the guys on Monty Python….

I’m thinking maybe they whould run the video of Daniel Pearl getting his head sawed off as an intermission during the middle of every screening, so people don’t forget that scripted Movie Terrorists don’t necessarily accurately reflect REAL Terrorists.

I think this movie has a place. True, becoming desensitized to a subject like this can be bad, but during my stint in the Army we would constantly make up some pretty messed up jokes to take the edge off of a situation. From an outsider, it would seem like it was a pretty desensitized view on it all, but to each other it was just a coping mechanism.

  4. Regular Josh here, lol

This looks pretty funny. I don’t think we should worry too much about people watching this and coming away thinking that terrorists are goofy and funny guys just trying to figure out their lives. I think nearly everyone will be able to differentiate between the comedy of the movie and the reality of terrorism.

I like the part at the end of the clip where they’re shaking their heads so their faces are blurry if someone is photographing them. That’s just good thinking!
