The Green Hornet Movie And The Double Desert Eagle

I don’t really like Cameron Diaz, but the movie looks like it should be entertaining.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of the villain’s Gun:

The lack of BEAMz is disappointing. :P

His name is “Chudnofsky”, played by Christoph Waltz.  If that were real, the recoil would be insane.

The Green Hornet is set to come out January 14, 2011 according to IMDB.

Doesnt much look like a USP other than the frame, which in reality for a movie gun, is all they really needed to do.

I looked it up. It doesn’t look much like the gun in the picture to me.

  4. What would the delta in ignition timing be, and how would it throw off your aim?

You could probably do that for real, if they were angled from the center of the frame. Feeding would be a nightmare.

Funny this is that if magnum research actually built and sold a gun like this they probably wouldn’t be able to keep up with demand for a while.

And he might be able to manage it better if he wasn’t using a teacup grip.

(geez… that’s the instructor in me… noticing technique before I notice the actual gun… )

haha yea BRUTAL grip is right.

  8. Recoild on a Desert Eagle .44 Mag with hot loads is not NEARLY as bad as that of the Ruger Blackhawk .44 Mag single action. The weight of the slide takes quite a bit of the recoil away. I used to shoot both on a weekly basis and I’d WAY rather shoot that double Desert Eagle than the Blackhawk…..at least on a recoil basis. If I actually wanted to HIT the target, as opposed to just making it piss on itself, I’d rather have the Blackhawk with aftermarket grips. The logistics of trying to sight in a weapon like this are out there as well. Basically, other than the “make them soil themselves” factor, the weapon is worthless if you want to hit your target before it hits you.
