Machete Movie And Bad Trigger Discipline

The movie looks corny as expected. I’ll probably see it some day, but not in the theater.

Now onto the pics:

Lindsay Lohan:

Robert DeNiro:

Jessica Alba:

Michelle Rodriguez, with perfect form on her rifle… and still looks like a fail on the other gun:

Movies like this win because they do not take themselves seriously at all. I’m there.

It’s a movie, who cares about the trigger discipline?

Yeah.. gives me something to talk about though, cause someone else would have mentioned it in the comments If I didn’t :P

Have to agree – that rule is violated countless times in the filming of any movie using blank-firing firearms (though the rule of thumb is not to aim directly at fellow actors). If it’s deemed safe in that scenario, a publicity still with the weapon pointing at floor or ceiling is even less of a worry. The movie’s armourer is going to be overseeing both situations.

Movie armorer sounds like an interesting job.

Is bad trigger discipline ever intentional? That’s what I want to know. “Oh, I’m just fingering the trigger because thats what my dumbass character would do”

Lindsay Lohan as a NUN now thats just funny

The movie looks to be on par with the Machine Gun girl or Grindhouse except for the A-listers

oh yea THAT’S the movies this one reminded me of… I couldn’t pinpoint it when I watched the trailer. Yea Lindsay as the nun is pretty ironic.

How did they ever get so many real actors into a movie with so many has-beens?

Yea good question… When I see actors like this in movies like Machete I think they must have just taken the part because they were bored and looking for some extra pocket change to have a bit of fun.

What I noticed about this movie when I first saw the trailer was, in the first Spy Kids movie, there is a man with the code name “Machete” who is an undercover spy and the uncle to the Spy Kids. In both of these movies, they are played by the same actor. I found a few webpages where people noticed the same thing, but it doesn’t seem to be that many people have noticed it. I believe he also appeared in the 2nd and 3rd Spy Kids movies as well…
