  1. Looks like whomever that gun was pointed at grabbed it and gave it a good twist counter-clockwise – the messed up perspective is driving me nuts. Interesting fact – I remembered reading a long time ago that the bible verse he recites wasn’t correct (I was actually thinking that what I read suggested that the entire thing was fabricated), I just looked it up and the real Ezekiel 25:17 says, “I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I take vengeance on them.” That’s quite a misquote!

Yea the perspective is kind of messed up. Thanks for looking up the quote… It’s definitely not as poetic as the way Samuel Jackson said it.. but still gets the point across.

That is a different version of the bible than the verse on the wallpaper

  2. It was somewhat fabricated like you said the real thing is not as long or as expressive but it was a nice touch to the movie and definitely a nice quote

    1. Real life isn’t exciting or dramatic enough for Hollywood. You see it all the time with respect to firearms. The realities of a gunshot aren’t exciting enough – if a person gets hit with a bullet in the movies it knocks them off their feet, or their head explodes. If a bullet hits a car it doesn’t just put a hole in it; the car explodes. Thirty rounds to a magazine isn’t enough for an assault rifle – they often times seem to fire long after they should have run empty. It’s not enough to have a pump-action shotgun and chamber a round when you pick it up – you have to pump it again whenever you’re trying to intimidate someone with it.

Oh Hollywood, you can’t be trusted.

“Real life isn’t exciting or dramatic enough for Hollywood” …..

“t’s not enough to have a pump-action shotgun and chamber a round when you pick it up – you have to pump it again whenever you’re trying to intimidate someone with it. ”

And waste a perfectly good LIVE round!

Man, I think Josh stole my post – this guy thinks like me, actually taking the time to analyze the reality of events :-)

Sadly, the closest most in Holloywood come to a Bible verse is a FAKE bible verse.. albeit founded loosely on the actual verse (some credit to Tarantino for that)

Anyway the guy in the gun graphic put “He’s brother’s keeper “when I believe it should be “His brother’s keeper”
