She’s cute, and good for her for not getting freaked out around all the noise and destruction that those awful firearms create. Am I the only one that noticed that the chick that introduced the segment doesn’t realize that Oklahoma is her home STATE, not her home town? She said, “So every year a few lucky staffers get to go to my home town of Oklahoma…”
Yea I caught that home town thing too.. maybe she meant to say “In”, and that she is from Wyandotte, OK where the shoot appears to be held.
Now thats firearms media!!! She seemed to handle herself well with everything but the flame thrower. Then again I have no desire to be around a highly pressurized supersoaker full of napalm either.
Shes still cute as when she won the PMOY title. All though she looks like she spends too much time tanning these days, and might have went the fake boob route since.
What they didn’t show was the first two attempts with the wind blowing in her direction that almost cooked her and the camera man… lol

Ha.. that was pretty cool :) I caught part of a different version of this on AOTS yesterday, and had been meaning to search out the rest of the video online. I thought about going to FAST this year, but my schedule didn’t allow it. Maybe next year.
Last year AOTS had Alison Haislip attend OK FAST, so its becoming sort of a tradition for them. Her report was even better, if you can find the Video online. I’ve got a remixed version of her shoot on my site from last year – no yacking just shooting, with a rockin’ soundtrack:

G4 and AOTS have sort of a split personality when it comes to 2nd amendment stuff, and conservative issues in general. They’ll poke fun at “rednecks” and look down their noses at people who don’t toe the liberal line, but at the same time they think stuff like this is badassed, and they at least make an effort to support the troops. Pretty heavy Obama supporters, but they aren’t nearly as vocal about it now that they’ve determined that the Unicorn didn’t actually crap rainbows like they thought. Funny how that happens :)
I like AOTS and G4 well enough. Most of the time I can rely on my bullsh*t filter to get me through to the parts I enjoy.
