GarE Maxton presents “The INTIMIDATOR”. A metal puzzle sculpture that transforms into a fully functioning .45 caliber muzzle loading pistol! Featuring six different kinds of metal and over 135 pieces.

The sculpture includes everything required for assembly of the puzzle pistol. Integrated into the sculpture are a customized set of tools, all necessary hardware, 45 caliber bullets, a standard sight, a laser sight, a cannister containing black powder pellets, a secure storage area for 209 shotgun primers, a spent primer removal tool and a ramrod for loading the bullets.

Assembled in puzzle form… Just looks like a block of random Metal pieces:

Disassembled, it looks like even more of a mess:

But with the proper problem solving and skills, you can assemble this:

…A fully functioning .45 caliber muzzle loading pistol!

The artist was of course inspired by the 1974 James Bond 007 movie “The Man With The Golden Gun”

He is taking orders with a projected 24 month delivery. There is no mention on the website of the price.

Sure beats those other boring non gun related puzzles!

  1. pfft, not all the parts go on the pistol, only about a dozen or so, he could have made all the parts interchangeable to make different things. Meh not impressed…

Really? I was under the impression that all the parts were either for the pistol itself, or tools used to put it together.

  2. I believe this is what Chicago is going to require of all handguns. “Must be kept in puzzle form until such time the gun is required for defense”

    1. HAHA… right, it could be nicknamed the “Blockhead” in honor of Dick Daley.

But seroiusly, I love the ‘hidden-in-plain-sight’ aspect of this thing. A bit chunky and limited in firepower, but very innovative.

Yea that wouldn’t surprised me one bit. The current regulations of which guns are allowed and which are not, are almost as goofy.

Blackpowder. I wondered how he was going to get around the regs! But he also has a $200 tax stamp! Interesting.
