Well hopefully they will have this going during the week and not on Sundays like Mad Men and Rubicon, which are both really good shows. If you do have AMC the next 3 weeks are going to be awesome for movies during the week, all the Dirty Harry movies next week, then its all the Death Wish movies, and finally its Mad Max week!

I haven’t got into MadMen yet, but I hear it is awesome. I saw a trailer for Rubicon the other day and that looks good too.

Will they broadcast those movies in standard definition, 4:3? Or are they widescreen non cropped versions?

Going to take back my Sunday comment since it looks like that is when it will be on, I seriously need a DVR or something, tired of missing all the good shows because of work.

I have to admit, I am a little wierded out by AMC getting into a zombie series, but, hey, if it gets me a more-steady diet of shooty goodness, I can live with it.

I’m thinking i’ll give anything AMC a try after being so impressed by their show “Breaking Bad”

remember reading the whole graphic novel in Dillons while blousing – intense, and long before 28days – happy they kept the hospital bit just to remind Mr. Doil where he stole the idea from!

I didn’t know there was a graphic novel. I’ll have to look it up!

Admin Mike there are at least 10 graphic novels in the series, I have 9 but got more than a bit tired of the inability of the characters to even BEGIN to learn. I was never sure the author was just trying to keep earning a buck or the characters were meant to show how the human race deserves to be eaten away (pun intended). On the side, AMC’s doing this and it should be fun and somewhat “shooty” but I’m really anxiously awaiting the movie version of the World War Z novel. I expect they’ll do the usual to a good basic story, but somethings better than nothing. Now THAT book is good and shooty. The description of the fight to take back the world, the shoulder to shoulder clearing of the eastern US complete with kevlar BDUs and “Cherry-Pie” bullets makes the story worth-while in and of itself.

Sounds awesome.

I just looked up that World War Z movie you mentioned, and it looks like Brad Pitt is going to be starring in it.
