Pro Tip: You slice the stacked package bacon perpendicular to the slices instead of just peeling the strips off.

It looks cool, but this bacon system is not modular as the older strip based models, which could be wrapped around a machine gun barrel and cooked.
I agree… what you gained in aesthetics you lose in versatility.
