Tactical Ninja Showcases His Sword and Bow Skills

What a better way to showcase your incredible ninja skills than to set up a bunch of water filled softdrink bottles in your parents back yard, set up a camera and start swinging the sword.

I was just waiting for him to slip up and cut his leg wide open, but that never happened.

The song is Enter The Ninja by Die Antwoord (incase you’re not already down, you need to check them out… very cutting edge stuff).

I thought this was totally awesome due to its extreme lame-ness, but after going to the guys Youtube channel it looks like it was meant to be a gag – making it much less awesome. Oh well.

mmm I suppose that explains the song… “I’m a ninja, my life is like a video game”

Oh well, for every guy like this there are probably ten kids who do it half as well and think they’re the next Musashi Miyamoto.

I can’t comment on his sword skills, but he sucks with the bow.

Wow… its not even sharp enough to cut the 2-liter bottles. I wanted to think this guy was serious… but all I saw was a seriously dull blade…

Government camp, Nice! I spent most of the summer in Hood River, and did a few hikes around Govt. Camp.

Hmmmm… I would have expected a ninja to move more gracefully, not looking like he’s about to trip over his own feet…

Is that a child’s bow??? It doesn’t appear to have any let-off like a real compound bow, and it’s not snapping back to a fixed draw-length like the compound bows I’m familiar with. I loved when the angle switch so you can see the dump of a house he’s behind. The gigantic window AC unit is a nice touch.

OKAY ALL YOU HATERS. YOU CANT HANDLE MY MAD NINJA SKILLS. WHAT YOU THINK A SWORD IS INFERIOR TO A GUN? THINK ABOUT THIS, MY SWORD WILL NEVER JAM AND NEVER NEEDS TO BE RELOADED. I BRING SWIFT DEATH TO MY FOES AND MY BLADE THIRSTS FOR YOUT INSOULENT PIG DISGUSTING BLOOD.

It’s not that I think the sword is inferior, even though is is, since the gun has a range that tends to be farther than the sword’s. It’s that you seem to have the martial creativity of a 12-year-old.

“Death to your foes”? The water bottles didn’t look to dasterdly to me (let alone the fact that they were never alive to begin with).

And yes… as long as a gun has ammunition and a “foe” to fire it, a sword is inferior to a gun. Sorry to burst your bottle…I mean bubble.
