Battleship Basketball Shoe

Made by artist Phil Noto.

Pretty cool, but i’d have been slightly more impressed if he used a Nike Air Force 1 over some random other shoe.

I’m not one for modern art. I’m even less one for using a sweatshop-made shoe as a canvas. And i see no battleship here. I see numbers off an aircraft carrier, a retarded howitzer poking far out in front of a gun shield and alot of plastic. I. See. No. Battleship. Heer.

I’m no art critic, but that thing isn’t even fit to be worn. And it’s a shoe. Shoes are meant to be worn.

It looks like he used parts of a German 88mm Flak 36 gun model and/or the AT version of the Hanomag 251.

It’s art. It’s a metaphor. It’s awesome.
