Nintendo Zapper Guns In Famous Movies

Photoshop has so many great uses, this is one of them:

Hat tip: NullPoint84

What were your favor NES games that used the zapper?  Mine were Operation Wolf, Duck Hunt, and Hogan’s Alley.

I’ll never get the sound of that stupid spring that goes to the trigger out of my head.

And these are all awesome. So much pew pew.

Andrew September 2, 2011 at 04:53 am

Every time i shoot a fresh ar-15 build and I hear the buffer tube spring, it reminds me of a zapper.

Duck hunt was amazing. I couldn’t identify some of those movies, so I right clicked and went to “save as”. The name of the movie is in the file name.

Dillankid September 2, 2011 at 09:30 am

You could just hover over them with your mouse too :-)

Josh September 2, 2011 at 09:56 am

Those are almost all classics! I’m no fan of The Matrix though. And Face Off is certainly no classic. Nicolas Cage sucks almost as much as Keanu Reeves.

That one guy September 2, 2011 at 04:05 pm

“Nicolas Cage sucks almost as much as Keanu Reeves.”
Keanu reeves was good in his earlier movies. Nicholas cage on the other hand, he’s never been in a good movie at all, all the while thinking he is a badass. At least they’re arguably better actors than Will Ferrel lol.

Ed September 2, 2011 at 04:30 pm

Will Ferrel is trying to be funny though. Nicholas Cage is not. But I do agree that Keanu was awesome in the Bill and Ted movies. Hell everything about those movies is awesome.

Josh September 2, 2011 at 08:30 pm

I was going to mention that the Bill and Ted movies were great. I was going to be joking when I did so, but still…

Ironically, after making that comment about Keanu this morning, I came across this link on another site. Absolutely not looking for it; just happened across it. After reading it though, I’ve got a lot more respect for the guy.

Call me crazy, but I actually like the matrix. It deals with some interesting themes about the nature of reality and I’ve always been a sucker for cyberpunk. Besides it could have been worse, Will Smith was almost Neo.

Josh September 4, 2011 at 09:53 pm

I’m just looking at this again and realized I didn’t put the link I was talking about in there! DUH.

Dave September 7, 2011 at 02:01 pm

I have to say… Canoe Keanu sucks, but not nearly as much as Nicholas Cage. He is hands down the worst actor still in Hollywood.

skottt September 2, 2011 at 12:36 pm

The Clint Eastwood one is wrong; It’s from The Outlaw Josey Wales. Not from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Josh September 2, 2011 at 01:30 pm

Good call!

CR Pyro September 2, 2011 at 06:34 am

ARGH! @Mike, now I’m going to have that damned stage loading and “hit” sound effect from Duck Hunt in my head all day.

On a related note, they forgot xXx, American Gangster, and The Departed methinks. And if they wanted to go for the younger crowd, they should have done one of The Fast and Fururururrious movies (but then, which one? they’re the new Police Academy series).

That Guy September 2, 2011 at 08:45 am

I was hoping to see “Last Man Standing”

This made me giggle this morning.

mlk18 September 2, 2011 at 09:10 am

Everyone always claims photoshop. Geesh. Some of these pics might be real you know.

Dillankid September 2, 2011 at 09:32 am

The Taxi Driver and Star Wars shots are waaay too realistic to be shopped ;-)

Josh September 2, 2011 at 09:43 am

Everyone always claims photoshop. Geesh.

I know! It could be Corel Photo-paint, or Paint Shop Pro. Not everyone uses Photoshop! LOL

Well, I do, but not everyone does… I wouldn’t trade my CS5 Extended for any other program! :)

Frank September 2, 2011 at 09:41 am

LOL at Goodfellas zapper, wow that movie was messed up.

Ed September 2, 2011 at 06:02 pm

This has inspired me.

Just whipped this up in ‘shop.

45er September 2, 2011 at 06:06 pm

Nice Desert Eagle. Just as accurate as the other gun they had her shoot, which means zero.

Josh September 2, 2011 at 10:56 pm

Nicely done. I was considering trying to do something (I was thinking Lethal Weapon poster) but my computer was not playing nice and I decided it was time to back everything up and recover it back to new before I threw it at the wall. What a time-consuming pain in the ass.

ENDO-Mike September 3, 2011 at 12:25 am

ahhahaha nice work Ed!

CR Pyro September 4, 2011 at 09:08 am

This. This is pure win. You, sir, have won a bucket of internets. Come to the regional office of the internet for collection. :)

45er September 2, 2011 at 06:04 pm

That is awesome.

Legacy September 4, 2011 at 09:47 pm

I WISH I was this talented at Photoshop. As of right now its basically poorly done copy and paste jobs.
