CTD almost always goes full-auto-retard with their ads, and somehow they always make sure I have their magazine at my door step as soon as I get paid.

The low profile reddots that are cut into the slide are nice. The one in the pic looks like it would be a pain though.
A friend of mine has a glock with a mini reddot mounted were the rear sight goes, it’s actually really nice.

My first experience (and maybe last looking at how things are going) with Sig was their 556 SWAT rifle. I sold that tacticool, AR-ified heap for an actual high-end AR and haven’t looked back.

Why not just mill a picatinney rail on the slide? I wish someone would to that to an AK sight base as well…
Doesn’t work well with recoil operated pistols like that P220, the optics get battered by the movement of the slide back and forth. This mount, while stupid, at least keeps the optics stationary.
I really don’t see the point. I mean, if you can’t hit a man-sized target with pistol iron sights or point-shooting, you’re probably beyond the effective range of the weapon. 25m is about the point where most shooters fall of (and that’s in an organized range environment), the studs like SEALs and SAS practice to 50m or more.

I have the exact set up for my P229 and i do agree it is over the line when its all on at once, but if just the scopes on, or just the light its not too bad, fun at the range. As home defense, its completely retarded to think your going to use that on an intruder, which is what i have my Saiga 12 by my bedroom door, Sig in the night stand….. Its fun, but i’d save your money and buy something else.
The Trijicon Red Dots on the FNH-45’s are very nice and streamlined, this is just too bulky
