AK-47 Saudi Wedding Showoff

Gives a new meaning to spray and pray:

Apparently shooting guns off in celebration is common practice at weddings in the Middle East. Try using both hands next time dumbass.

After he finishes shooting, what he’s says is roughly translated as “My bad guys… my bad!”

  1. I want to say that Saudi Arabia is awesome because of this, but then I remembered that they have honor killings and do lady ‘scision.

    Yuck.

  2. All I can think of is how loud that would have been, and they didn’t even flinch. Ugh. I have a headache just thinking about that.

    1. I’m sure they find excuses to do it at least twice a week. Especially if Starbucks, since they’re firearm friendly, has a 2 for 1 deal.

  3. I’m beginning to wonder where these guys think the rounds go. Do they just assume Allah is going to accept their gift of lead and copper? He’s just collecting an entire mountain of fired bullets and saving them for some sort of super jihad? Or are they hoping they’ll get lucky and it lands on some US troops?

    1. It’s going to be awfully awkward when they get to heaven and find out that all the virgins are dead via gunshot wounds.

Guess you should’ve exercised some trigger discipline there, eh Mahmoud?

  4. Pretty common in Kosovo too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ukn6tgXP8KA

haha yea that vid is awesome. I posted about that a while back.

  5. I’m sure it’s not common, but I’ll bet there is still celebratory shooting at weddings here in America, though not with automatic weapons! I think in order to do it though, it has to be done with a shotgun, and the bride and groom have to be some degree of cousins.

  6. Hard to say for certain, but it almost looks like the pistol grip parted company with the rifle. About the 18 second mark, he’s holding the rifle by the fore end and the grip appears to be missing. Maybe it’s visible on his lap near his right knee about 15 seconds into it?

    1. I saw it too. Guess that shatters the myth of the Kalashnikov’s invulnerability.
