the only thing I find uncomfortable on this rifle, is that the fire selector switch is on the rear of the magazine. but that’s a small issue you can adapt to (it’s not like you change the fire mode frequently during combat)
Having fire one (once) I recall the selector switch was in the trigger guard, that lever, pushed right or left would determine mode of fire.

The French troops equipped with it were less than thrilled, they demonstrated how loose the upper carrying handle was (where the sights are and attach too).

the selector on the rear is to switch between 3-fire burst or full auto.
