Brainwashing People On Guns

A young Eric Holder wanted to scare young people away from guns:

But Eric… guns are “cool”, “acceptable” and “hip”.  That said, I agree it’s not cool for kids to carry guns.  The maturity level just isn’t there to take on that kind of responsibility.

I personally am more concerned with fighting the good fight against shoulder things that go up, high capacity assault clips, and ceramic guns that can go through airport metal detectors.

Thoughts?

So am I still to believe that a guy who came up with this bit of genius wouldn’t authorize an operation with the sole mission of trafficking guns into Mexico in order to paint US firearms dealers and owners as responsible for the violence down south?

Something about Holder is fishy indeed…

all the points he’s making come down to responsible parenting, not gun control. don’t let young kids watch violent movies or listen to rap music. show them that guns are used for non violent activities and how to use them properly. all his points are now void. someone to him to the range and show him guns are fun.

It’s not about guns being safe or not safe to these people, it’s about control.

not so forthcomming with information anymore is he

Did you see last week where they refused a subpoena from congress for details on the Fast and Furious case? They said the republicans on the committee couldn’t be trusted with the information or some such BS.

Fucking cocksucker. The 90’s and those Brady assholes ruined it for everyone.

Heath March 25, 2012 at 06:36 pm

It’s no wonder our President appointed him.

Marion Barry has credibility? Now that’s scary.

If I were there I probably would have asked ‘Wouldn’t a more successful and feasible strategy be to attempt to make crime socially unacceptable rather than guns?’ Course I probably would have been tased at that point.

How come anybody gives credit to a guy who says “I want to brainwash people” ?
Whatever the point is, or how praiseworthy the goal is, it is not only a question of vocabulary, but it clearly demonstrates how extremist the guy is.
He doesn’t want to open people’s eyes, or convince them, he wants to force them into thinking the same way he does…

And get rid of this hippie mustache !

Perturbo March 26, 2012 at 01:32 pm

You mean the gay porn star mustache.

Very good point Vhyrus !

He makes a good point though, the anti-smoking campaign is very similar to the anti-gun campaign.
It reminds me of this clip from south park

Replace tobacco with ammo, cigarettes with guns, smoking with carrying, and the trucker smoking with a trucker open carrying

we gotta brainwash the populace into following our agenda…

hydepark March 27, 2012 at 12:23 am

Make no mistake, folks. This fucker and many in our government are intent on disarming us. I’d love about two seconds worth of “brainwashing” our Dear Leader AND Herr Holder. Well, does blowing their faces off with my 12 gauge count as brainwashing?
