Action Figure Therapy On Gun Control

AFT is always good for a few laughs:

The only complaint I have about Action Figure Therapy is that after watching tons of them, the punchlines and direction they take in all the videos is very predictable.

  1. To the best of my knowledge there is no gun registration process in the US. Am I correct in saying this? Canada had a gun registration for the longest time and finally got rid of it because it did absolutely nothing in reducing the amount of crime. No registration is one of the reasons there are only estimations on the number of guns owned in the US. Again, can someone confirm this? Maybe I’m wrong.

    1. Maybe it just depends on the state.

    2. Depends on the state. Most states have absolutely no registration; however when you a buy a gun from a dealer that sale is recorded, and the number of background checks for guns is recorded as well. It would be possible, although somewhat difficult, to trace a serial number back to the person that bought it from the gun shop. If the gun has gone through a private sale it is basically impossible to trace unless the seller recorded the buyers info (not required and most don’t). Some states do have registration (I believe Kali does as well as some others) but its the exception not the rule.

      1. That sounds like what I was thinking of. Thanks!

        1. Canada has had handgun registration for a long long time. The registration they scrapped recently or are still finalizing scrapping was for rifles and shotguns. Although there is a long list of rifles that are in the it looks scary so it banned category.
