FPSsharkjump And His Machine Gun Quadrocopter

The long intro had me pumped… then came the “test” starting at 1:40:

*eye roll* my first thought was how is it even fed rounds?  Is the magazine on top and they come through the tube? hahhaha who knows.. but it just gets more corny and fake as the video goes on.

I don’t dispute that real versions of this will likely exist within the next few years.  They will be a muzzle discipline nazi’s worst nightmare when someone is learning to fly.  I wouldn’t want to have the operator sneeze or anything while he/she had their finger on the FIRE button.

Thoughts?

Mike,

I am glad I’m not the only one who had a hunch this video was faked. Pretty much all of his stuff has been real up until this video.. Why would he start making crap like this all of the sudden? If I remember correctly, I believe he made some reference of this device showing up in a Call of Duty game in the future… Maybe this is some kind of marketing ploy?

Another reason i think it’s some type of marketing gig is because if you dont know, there is suppose to be some big CoD reveal in a few days, on MAY 1ST! Thoughts?

this is in fact a CGI, and it’s a marketing ploy for the new up coming Call Of Duty: Sci-Fi Warfare ( hah! lame joke :eyeroll: ) which will be revealed on May 1st.
The video can also be found on their website callofduty.com (which when you click it, it brings you to FPS’s youtube channel)

Sure is CG in here.
What really gets me is how all the little cowadooties are all thinking this is real.

I remember the 1911 heli: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBa22uwYzIw

Personally, I want to see someone build a RC camera heli with .22LR ‘rocket’ pods

April Fools must be on a different day in Russia

I dunno about you, but I doubt very much that this guy has ever been anywhere NEAR Russia.

His stuff was fun at first, but it’s gotten more and more – obviously – fake and annoying.

clearly fake but still made me nervous seeing where the muzzle was pointed half the time.. too close of a proximity for my comfort if i were the operator.

Why do you think its fake?

because it was uploaded as well on the up coming Call Of Duty (game) website.. FPS is doing a promotional for them.

In Kyle Myers’ Russia, the shark has jumped him.

It’s fake. He had a variant of a flying RC helo, yes, but notice the impact points in the dirt on the hillside, obviously giving way to the fact that the rounds are coming from further up range, just outside the camera radius, as a lone shooter takes shots at the target. However, there is a CG skin over the real RC he used. This being noted by the shadow castings, or lack-thereof as it sat on the table.

The whole thing was bull…

He just trolled everyone and man did it work.

I will lol if his next video starts with him laughing at all the beeetches who got their panties in knot over what is, after all, just a youtube video.

Its a plug for the Black Ops 2. Its going to be a killstreak in the game. At the end of the video check the bottom left corner. Activision filmed and made this video. Its driving the Youtube community nuts right now. Treyarch is really good at building buzz for their games. They do mystery images and build a story to reveal their game.

I really thought he was going to circle it around the wall and shoot through the window at the seated mannequins, with his dumb ass standing down range. Thank you for eliminating at least some of the muzzle sweep. And what is with the ammo feed tube??? Are the rounds supposed to loosely ‘slide’ down the plastic tube? Something tells me that would have an effect on the rpms and feed consistency. ; ) Epic troll though, well played gentlemen.

At the end of the video, it clearly states, “A big thank you to my friends the makers of Call of Duty for sponsoring this video.”

Yes, not really a sharkjump unless you think endorsing a commercial product counts as a sharkjump.

I’ve seen the black ops 2 trailer recently on youtube.. my reactions were “meh”
it’s set in the “near” future, so that kind of was a big turn off for me. maybe I’ll play it when I don’t have anything else going on :D

haha, have anyone else seen it??
