All these guys need to go on a hog hunt somewhere down south and put them in a field with 50 to 70 hungry feral hogs. This. The musket and cannon were state of the art weaponry at the time. They damn well knew what they meant when they wrote it – arms capable and effective against bad men.
If they meant it didn’t cover the advancements of technology, then the first amendment was clearly never meant to cover the internet, television, and the radio.
The Kentucky Long RIFLE was state of the art weaponry. It allowed the colonials to effectively engage the Brits at distances that their muskets could not accurately reach. Without that technological advancement, we may all be breaking for afternoon tea right about now.

The problem with the ‘modern hipster’ look and feels is that it’s too easy to do without facts. It looks cool as long as you have facts (not beliefs or even truths, but facts). And when it’s done without facts… video’s like this are the results. They look so cool as looking stupid. When they could have looked pretty cool and hip if they only possessed a few simple facts.
