Types Of Gun Owners

Buck Yeager has a list for us:

The List: The Talisman, The Collector, The Hobbyist, The Competitor, The Gun Fighter, The Martial Artist

Another normal video from Yeager, maybe someone recently kicked his ass and took him down a notch? I kid I kid.  I’ve seen similar lists online, so I was glad to hear him not boasting about inventing this like he did for the Rules Of Gunfighting.

I was surprised to not see an I Wish A MotherF**ker Would type gun owner on there.

Thoughts?

I doubt someone “kicked his ass and brought him down a notch”.
Because “he’s been in 100s of fights and has never lost and never will”.
He’s “prepared for everything, are you!?”

I kicked his ass, beat the man into submission with my massive dick.

Decent list. I am horrified by how popular the, “talisman,” type is. I can’t go more than a few days without encountering someone (always a middle-aged and older lady) who wants the cheapest pistol in the case to scare off would-be bad guys. I actually witness a sale denied in a shop after the customer admitted having no desire to train or learn the weapon, or even purchase ammo to load it with.

Pretty biased and direct list. Not necessarily wrong but it doesn’t really apply to all shooters at all in the slightest.

“often, untrained civilians are successful in a gunfight” Like when they run and hide in a ditch.

He didn’t talk about the gunschool groupies who travel to every gun school over and over and could teach the classes from memory. Whoops he said we were only going to talk about his list.

Or the youtube fame seeker group

Good video. Don’t always agree w him, but it’s cool to see some down-to-earth videos from him.

Yea, and I think that his stereotypes were accurately described though in reality you cannot pidgeon hole people into just one. I would add the Elmer Fudd, who only shoots groups at the 100 yd line with his ought six! I bet Elmer would have a loaded side by side 12 gauge leaned up next to his stack of NRA American Rifleman magazines dating back to 1977!

Then the “Redneck” comes to mind. Some can shoot, others only blast; some cherish their grandad’s 1911, others would just as quickly sell it for Coors Light money.

Everybody is different. The point is that if a person owns a firearm for defense, it is necessary to be competent.

Or the tactard who thinks they are going to do ninja moves clearing their house and have every bolt on accessory possible.
Oh, wait, thats his target demographic.

so he just did that video because he came up with a group name martial artist and thought it was cool and wanted to tell people about it. so he came up with a list of other people real quick and didnt say much about em so he could get to his group martial artists. funny.

that was a troll attempt. thought i had a pretty good one there. I bet if i would have had that comment on a video people liked it would have worked. however its hard to troll on the videos of a TROLL.

Just when I thought Bucky couldn’t be a bigger douche he tops himself. Good job Buckey, I’m sure there are some Iraqis who have bragging rights.

For once, a video from him I made it to the wrap-up. It sounds like he has sat through a Dave Grossman class.

I will agree with the idea that the U.S. Martial Art is firearms.

THEN there is the runner

He is the kind of guy who makes list and talks a bunch of silly shit but in a fire fight runs away like a bitch

I think that would be “ran like a ‘ho.” A bitch would stand and fight. A ‘ho runs away.

I would add to the types of gun-owners “the grown-up” or maybe “the not-defenseless”
